Anyway, this ones for Datsue, Boxing Prospect and all the other connoisseurs of vertically challenged fight game.
Give me your P4P top 20 list compiled of fighters weighing 126lbs and below. (i want reasons from our resident experts)
I'm going to have a crack at it myself but openly admit to being slightly light on knowledge apart from Frampton/quigg and what i've picked up in the last couple months. Feel free to tear my list to pieces

1. Guillermo Rigondeaux
2. Roman Gonzalez
3. Carl Frampton
4. Jhonny Gonzalez
5. Juan Francisco Estrada
6. Tomoki Kameda
7. Naoyo Inoue
8. Vasyl Lomachenko
9. Hekkie Budler
10. Carlos Cuadras
11. Nonito Donaire (i know Walter just beat him, but still think he has something at a lighter weight)
12. Shinsuke Yamanaka,
13. Abner Mares
14. Leo Santa Cruz,
15. Donnie Nietes,
16. Juan Carlos Reveco,
17. John Riel Casimero,
18. Nicholas Walters
19. Omar Narvaez
20. Paul Butler

I would suggest you wait u til the end of today, Taguchi, Takayama and Ioka could be pushing the bottom part of the top 20 for some.

As for top 5:
Gonzalez (I prefer offensive fighters so he's above Rigo)
Rigo (Gonzalez's defenses counter part)
Inoue (controversial choice but he has it all, with 2 big wins this year)
Lomachenko (former amateur star who has skills, now to add the wins)
Estrada (I'll give him a pass for looking VERY BAD against Alvarez)

Nietes (LOOONG reign with some quality in there)
Rodriguez Jr (he didn't look great last time out but he was the bomb at 105 and I suspect 108 will suit him)
Budler (fantastic and over looked guy with a lot of skills and plenty of good wins)
Yamanaka (technically limited, 1 handed and a bit basic....but that left hand is a rocket)
Frampton (more skilled than Yamanaka but lesser record)


Tbh I'm doing that at 4AM so I'll try and re do it in January after a proper think about things.


I know Kosei Tanaka will be in the top 10 this time next year however.

I'd want to put Walters, Shinsuke, and Naoya a bit higher than you have them. But then, I haven't seen every fighter on the list.
Simpiwe Vetyeka seems to have good potential. And Francisco Rodriguez Jr.
Always liked Akira Yaegashi, but it seems like his best may be behind him. Also will be interesting to see where Kazuto Ioka lands within the next couple years.

Only watched Yamanaka once v Jamoye thought he looked awesome TBH.

If Donaire is mentally right he will do damage back at Super Bantam for sure.

Have to say I'm really impressed with what I've seen of Tomioki Kameda. The Jamie McDonnell fight in the spring will ask serious questions of him and show if he is the real deal

Jamie was poor in his last fight but will need to exceed his World Title win performance to beat Kameda.
