Supposedly the British Lionhearts are due to face the Chinese Dragons at the York Hall on Jan 15th but you wouldn't know it given the lack of any up-to-date info. Anybody know if this actually is taking place and if so where to get tickets?

I had same issue, tried all kinds of internet searches and all I found were out of date websites. I thought British Lionhearts were associated with GB boxing, but their website is woefully lacking in any up to date info.

Slightly off topic but is the WSB being telievised?

It is a shame, especially when you see that unlicensed stuff on Eurosport getting coverage.

British Lionhearts are an absolute shambles if they’ve no TV. No TV, No Promotion, No Exposure, £7 in and still wont fill the bloody York Hall.

An absolute cracking product, perfect for TV and they still cant pull it all together. It’s a real shame because I went to most of their original season and the boxing was outstanding.

Talking continental and sometimes world class talents on display. It's ridiculous that nobody with a bit of weight has not thrown themselves behind them. Seems a no brainer for me

I'm about an hour's drive away from York Hall but likely won't bother going if there's no concrete guarantee of getting in. It is surprising in this day and age that there is so little info.

I don't see why BT or allegedly haven't picked this up. Must be relatively cheap and it'll be covered for online streams won't it?

Clearly the geniuses organsing this event feel that by failing to promote it entirely, to the point that hardcore boxing fans are scratching around to find out details and struggle to buy tickets in advance, puts them in a good position to alter the ticket price on a whim and without publicising the fact.

£10 is still great value but it annoys me how poorly such a good product is being handled.

The whole thing is a shambles. You will effectively get to see the worlds best amateurs going head to head. It is like the Olympic finals not being advertised. You cannot even buy merchandise if you want a lions t-shirt for your kid.

I would love to promoting something like this, especially off the back of the Commonwealth Games and big events such as Froch vs Groves.

- A press conference covered by a youtube outlet e.g. IFL
- A twitter page dedicated to the team with all relevant information and someone manning the responses
- Publicising twitter and facebook accounts of the fighters involved to build profile
- Highlights reels of previous events and fights of the people involved
- Make it out to be what it is, a cheap way of seeing some of the best amateur fighters in the world, where you could get future multi million pound world title professional bouts taking place in York Hall for a tenner
- Merchandise and a family friendly atmosphere etc

It would only need someone doing it part time, I am a student and would have more than enough time to do it!

On my planner (SKY) it's listed on BT Sport 2 from 8:30 to 11.00
