Moonves squeezing Haymon to deliver Floyd to Pac?

Looks like there is some behind the scenes pressure and ultimatums forcing the hand of Haymon and Floyd to stop ducking and man up. Haymon has already been banned by HBO, a Showtime ban would be the nail in the coffin for Haymon, who is paying NBC for the air time (no revenues). I think we have a superfight, fans, better late than never.

HBO dumped Mayweather and Haymon, though Floyd spun it as he received a better offer from Showtime. But you can see what really happened as HBO no longer works with Haymon. Haymon controlled Golden Boy via his puppet Schaefer. Oscar finally got rid of Schaefer who will likely rejoin forces with Haymon who owes him big time for letting Haymon run Golden Boy for years. Oscar will be fine on his own. Showtime will be fine without Haymon's protected B level stars, Roc there are many other promoters with good fighters to fill the void (Roc, Duva, K2, DiBella, Matchroom, Euro promoters, etc.)
Moonves wants to end the Showtime losses from 3 of the last 4 Mayweather fights which lost millions. And Mayweather against anyone besides Pacquiao is another guaranteed loss of millions which Moonves won't accept. There's no one to take the bullet now for Haymon's robbery of Showtime and the fans with his showcase fraud fights. Haymon is going to have to take the bullet. And serve up Mayweather to Pacquiao.

Your agenda is to portray Floyd as a “duck” and to claim that he should “man up” and fight Manny Pacquiao, but your bias against Mayweather Jr., Haymon and Schaefer leads you to be factually-correct about most of the things you’ve said… or at least put a spin on things where there’s only a remote element of truth.
Ferg my friend.May I please translate this into language that fits a little better?

Well its not rocket science is it ,, Simple facts are , while Mayweather can choose who he wants to fight and get paid big money , he will always choose guys suited to his style , who he vcan beat easy , , that way he keeps his legacy and prolongs the big purses .
The only way the Paccy fight will happen is when the big players , be it showtime , HBO , whoever refuse to have any thing to do with them fights , and if there losing money , that may be on the cards , , then and only then, when they insist there not paying Floyd for a walk in the park anymore, the paccy fight wil happen ,, thats unless Paccy retires first .

Link won't even come up for me, but Scoop is a hack writer & more importantly has a strong anti-Floyd agenda. Reading Scoop for Floyd related news is like reading an Adolf Hitler newsletter about Jewish people during the 1940's.

I'm not a Floyd fan by any means, but I agree with Reggie. I'm also a big of Klitschko fan as you would find, but I'm realistic. He called Wlad the greatest HW of all time after the Pulev fight. He holds a strong bias for/against fighters....

Floyd is unquestionably a duck. he's admitted it, even boasted about it. On All Access: "I want my team to keep handpicking for me, and we can keep stealing money from the fans."
On Bob Costas: "It's not about money anymore it's about my health." "I don't want to walk with a limp for the rest of my life." "I won't be forced into fighting Pacquiao like Ali was forced by the fans and media to fight Holmes and Berbick at the end of his career." (Which of course is a lie, Ali wanted those fights and believed he could win.)
Floyd is a duck.
"The truth is hate to those who hate the truth."

Do you have some inside info Espinoza isn't privy to? He's repeatedly said Showtime hasn't lost money on Mayweather fights. What inside info do you have to dispute that?

He and Schaefer lied about Floyd's PPV #s too. Also saying they were still coming in and projected to be a certain amount then he never gave the final total. Obviously they feared putting out a straight lie figure so they worked their trickery. Floyd's fights with Maidana (both) and Guerrero were money losers for Showtime but the Canelo fight was a good profit.

Yes. Moonves knows Floyd vs. another Haymon controlled handpicked patsy will be yet another money loser. And he knows Floyd vs. Pac is the biggest jackpot in boxing history.
Even the dumbest dolt in the world knows which fight has to be made next. Except Mayweather fans who would rather see Floyd win a set up than risk it all against Pacquiao.

Most blatantly stupid statement ever made on boxrec. Floyd didn't need to spin anything, CBS backed him and his contract is the largest in boxing history, you should stick to stating the facts and not your garbage, personal hate theories.
Anyone with half an eye can see that Showtime is doing far better than HBO as far as the fight business goes, HBO's main guy (Manny) can't even deliver a quarter of what Mayweather brings to the table as far as PPV is concerned.
This article from the biggest Floyd hater in the business is Scoop, why should anyone believe anything he says, he is a total Top Rank Shill.

Showtime Boxing is far below HBO in terms of revenues, payouts and audience reached. Floyd's fading #s have been inflated by Haymon manipulating Canelo to be on several of Floyd's undercards. Floyd is a fading attraction despite big money spent on promoting him. 3 of his last 4 fights have flopped. This is why Moonves has been brought in by Arum to force the sacrifice of Mayweather.

Yes this is truth, the fight is being made. But it's only because Mayweather is at a dead end and is being MASSIVELY pressured to finally do the fight. If Floyd had his way he'd be fighting the next Haymon handpicked patsy set up. Floyd is being forced against his will to fight Pacquiao.
Moonves has given Espinoza Haymon and Mayweather a very stern ultimatum. Of course this aspect of the negotiation process will not be made public by the mainstream media. Fans are not privy to all that goes on behind the scenes. And believe me there's a lot that goes on BEHIND the scenes. ;)

What excuses have came from Mayweather's side? I've seen plenty come from Manny's side:
Afraid of needles
Having blood drawn weakens him
it'll take 6 months for his cut to heal
needs a bigger stadium
can't fight on this date
The list goes on and on. Anyone who isn't blind should be able to see that the only reason we haven't had this fight up to this point has been because Manny and Arum making every excuse they could think of not to take this fight.

Everything you've stated is absolutely false, for one; Floyd doesn't even have to fight at all if he doesn't want to-he can simply walk away from his contract without completing the last two fights.
Second, his contract doesn't state that he "MUST" fight Manny Pacquiao and with no written, legal wording that states "he must" or that "he agreed" then he isn't legally obliged to fight him.
Lastly but not least, you, just like all other dumb ass Pacquiao fans assumes that it is Floyd who has been ducking out of this fight because of all the stupid lies and garbage talk in the media by Arum, Roach and Manny that has you fooled but read the stuff in these links that unlike you-it states the actual facts:

Where can I find those numbers? CBS, parent company of Showtime, is a publicly held company meaning their financial info is public. Espinoza is saying they didn't lose money, you're saying they did. Can you link me to the financial info that you have which differs from Espinoza.

Obviously this guy/girl Montreal is no more than a Troll who continually posts up false information and lies altogether just to hate on Mayweather.
Let's just say for argument's sake that Floyd did only get 950K PPV, that would still mean that he did over 650K better than HBO when they televised Manny vs Algieri, so how is it that bringing in nearly 650K viewers than your rival network is considered a loss??
Some people make absolutely no sense whatsoever and with a clown like this turd (Montreal) it is obvious to see he is full of sh*t.
