Reports Daniel has signed to fight Glen Tapia in Macau on March 7th.
tapia only has the one loss and is trained by Roach (think hes still with him).
Great to see daniel getting these opportunities abroad.

I was impressed with how Dawson went against Trout! Although he has only fought away from Australia a few times, he has fought decent opponents and had a fair crack. I'll be rooting for him, but he'll be giving away a lot in regards to experience, age, height and reach. Could be a rough night for the old timer!

Tapia's only loss was to Kirkland. So tough fight for Dawson in China. He did better than most expected against Trout and had Trout in a degree of trouble early on (3rd round?).

All the very best to Daniel this weekend. A big opportunity against a very good opponent.

Don't know, but he has influence in Macau. He weighed-in at 154.4 lbs (70 and a bit kgs). After a brief discussion with officials, he was given all clear. Dawson didn't give a shite.

I think Top Rank TV will only show undercard (FOC) & not title fights, which are exclusive to HBO. Post your request in this Boxrec forum http://boxrec.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=23
I'll monitor Top Rank's TV, which will begin shortly http://www.toprank.tv/index.jsp

Dawsons manager didn't make Tapia lose the last 200 grams. He could have made him removed his underwear etc but decided against it. I'm not sure where the 154.4 come from. I'm sure it was 154.2. As i was there at the Weighin.

Depends which conversion chart one uses. 1 lb = 0.45356 kg... No drama in this case, it's only half a glass of milk or minus jocks
