If Floyd-Pac negotiations fall apart, who do you think should be Pacs next opponent? Here is my shortlist:
1. Danny Garcia
2. Keith Thurman
3. Amir Khan
4. Jesse Vargas
5. Kell Brook

I think Jessie Vargas might be the #1 guy on the list if Floyd doesn't happen.

King Khan would be a very good fight if the Floyd fight does not happen

Khan-Al Haymon
Garcia-Al Haymon
Thurman-Al Haymon
HBO refuses to work with Al Haymon. That leaves Vargas & Brook. Bob would have to do some hell of promoting to sell either one of those to a PPV audience. Fighting Kell in the UK would be the bigger money fight. I really don't see the public interest for a Vargas fight.
Question: Does Manny have a contract with HBO or does TR just choose to only have his fights on HBO?

As Roach has been saying, Manny will drop back down to 140 so he can avoid having to face the likes of Thurman, Maidana, Porter, Khan, JMM (again after that blazing KO) and so he can start to face the following:
Jessie Vargas
Lamont Peterson
Chris Algieri
Mike Alvarado
Khabib Allakhverdiev
Thomas Dulorme
Humberto Soto
Victor Postal
Dierry Jean
Zab Judah
Johan Perez
Notables removed from the list like hard hitting Provodnikov and great boxer Herrera.
Link for Freddie sending him back to 140:

Imagine if Floyd fought Chris Algeri instead of Maidana, lol

Eddie Hearn has Wembley booked for the summer
if Amir does not want to fight Kell, Pacman could fight him in front of 80000 people..
sky would have too put there hype machine into overdrive to sell the fight but it could be done

I think the shortlist includes Danny Garcia and Jesse Vargas. Another interesting match up would be Matthysse or Maidana. Actually I would most like to see Pac vs Matthysse.

Please there's no way in the world that Arum would allow Manny to face a KO puncher like Matthysse.

Poor Brut. You sure backed down on the re-run talk after your idol rematched Maidana...originally you flamed Manny for wanting to rematch JMM, now you're flaming him for not

probably Khan at this point in time, but no fight will ever sell over a million again.

Roll your eyes all you want but his last 3 fighters aren't known for their KO power!
Bradley, Rios and Algieri; all 3 of them together doesn't have the sleepytime KO power that JMM possesses; if you don't believe me just ask Manny when they wake him up!!

pac -jmm IV sold over a mil ppv after pac had just been robbed and another pac-jmm fight
was pretty far down the list of matchups people wanted to see.
after that ending and pac's comeback i would bet more would tune into part V.
i still think danny garcia at 140 is the fight for pac even though i have no idea
who is promoting garcia now. is it still GB?

How about Pac vs Porter? Khan would be good too.

Garcia is a Al Haymon fighter. If that means anything.

Khan is specifically looking at fighting Mayweather. I can't see him ruining the hopes of that just to fight Pacquaio. That is no disrespect to Pacman, Amir would just make more money in a fight against Floyd.

Not sure if I agree with Rios. Rios hurt Mike Alvarado just as much if not more than Marquez did. Rios did stop Mike first time around.

I'd say Rios definitely hits harder than Marquez in general, but he's not going to catch you with anything fast that you don't see coming, hence he was barely able to touch Manny. Marquez has deceptively good hand speed and exceptional timing, so he's able to deliver his power better.
As to the original topic, I'd say Khan as the most likely next guy. Garcia would be better but him fighting Peterson on April 11 takes him out of the running for a summer Pac fight.
