to be honest....eff pac-may, pacquiao vs canelo would be a much more entertaining fight, if i had the choice i would prefer this than floyd and pac.

why. the answer is simple. pac/floyd means running from floyd, manny trying to chase him down but will get bored doing so and all of of crabing and holding from floyd and a bought ref like in the maidana 2 fight who wont allow one of the basics thing in boxing and that is insight boxing.

canelo against pac means to superstar who have power and trade shots and , while canelo is much bigger than pac, dont let the looks fool you. also mosley and margarito were bigger than pac, but both felt pacquiaos power. pacquiao can ko tko canelo.

Canelo would no doubt be weight drained also and pac has done his best work against the bigger guys.

Mayweather vs Pac all day for me and then after the dusts setteld on that one get some other big fights on the go.

Pac Vs Khan
Mayweather ( if he fights pacquio and wins i reckon he may retire at the very top with nothing more to prove )
Khan vs Brook
Khan Vs Thurman
Pac Vs Thurman

I think Bob was honeydicking Oscar when this fight got mentioned (I bet fairly briefly) in their talks. I can't see Manny fighting Saul til Bob has cashed out a lil more on Manny. Now if Manny lost to Jessie Vargas or someone random I think Bob jumps at the chance to throw Manny in with Saul for what would surely be a nice payday for all parties.

I think there's about a 1% chance that we see this. These two guys are going in opposite directions as far as weight goes. I'm not sure that canelo can even make a 152 catchweight like he did for the Floyd fight anymore and I really don't think pac wants to fight about 147 at this point as he has been rumored to want to fight at 140.

Having said that, there is 0 chance that pac knocks him out if they would make this fight. What pac did against margarito means nothing because he is no where near that same guy. I would LOVE to see this fight, just don't see it happening.

Yea solid point on the weight. I didn't even think about that part of the equation. If Saul goes to 160, as it would appear he will be next time out, I don't think there is any chance this fight happens regardless of how far Manny should drop or promoter bs or whatever.

I doubt this would happen. Canelo is probably walking around at 170+ these days and Manny was even talking about a possible return to 140.

If Floyd/Pac falls apart I'm guessing we'll end up with Floyd/Khan and maybe Pac/Vargas or Pac/Marquez V.

So you're admitting that you are calling it a Run from Pac when he fought Rios? Why was he running from a guy with no KO power? Was he still gunshy after Marquez pancaked him?

I would love to see Canelo's face get shredded to pieces by Pacquao.

The Pacquiao that beat Cotto and Margarito was the "prime" Pac - (the one that refused random blood testing)
