Klitschko says it's 50-50. Wilder can hit hard but can't take a shot.

If Wlad says he can't take from having Wilder on camp I believe it.

James Ali Bashir has been saying this for quite some time too...

Wilder's matchmaking suggests to me that his team have doubts about his ability to hold a shot, and there seems to be other evidence (comments from multiple people who were in camp with him, him being heavily stopped as an amateur and apparently going down fairly hard against Sconiers) that he lacks durability. Maybe he'll eventually show that his chin is okay, but I suspect that at some point it will become apparent if it hasn't already that he doesn't take punches well.
I think that he'll get through Stiverne, but I doubt that he'll have a long title reign if he's victorious.

He's getting brutalized tonight by Stiverne.
Haymon would have probably rigged Stiverne's career had Arreola beat Stiverne but Arreola losing wrecked Haymon's plans. Wilder going down HARD.

Surprised Wlad was so candid, but my God anyone with a brain can see his team have steered clear of any stern tests like the plague. So many are so fooled by the fancy record . . .the one top 20ish guy he's beaten is Scott who can't punch his way out of a wet paper bag (and who likely took a dive). Whose the next best scalp . . .the completely shot Lyakovich (who himself was never a puncher)?
Why no dangerous but very beatable journeyman who could punch on his way up? No Sherman Williams . . .no Darnell Wilson . . . no Ondrej Pala . . .no Travis Walker . . not even a 50 year old Oliver McCall. Instead you had Damon Reed (!!), Matt Greer, and Harold Sconiers (who put him down).
Heck, I suppose he finally faced a fat journeyman who could punch when he was already a 30+ fight veteran in Firtha, and Firtha staggered him with a bloody jab.
The guy can't take it, clearly. Maybe he gets another 1st round stoppage tonight (although I doubt it), but that would prove little. He's not lasting long at the top of the HW scene either way, I guarantee it.

This has been the skinny on Deontay for awhile. I don't think Wlad enlightened very many every day boxing fans. It is nice to see some passive aggressive sorta mild sh!t talking from Wlad. If Deontay does win thats a solid insult that a HW title holder can't take a punch.

Wlad sparred Wilder. He probably has a pretty decent idea on that status of his chin.

Wlad learned to overcome obstacles concerning his own suspect chin by using his size more effectively. Wilder may be able to do the same.

That's a good point, Stiverne isn't a bad fighter though and it's a bad fight to learn in, this is the deep end.

I think that spam made up that Wlad's opinion, they don't say where Wlad said that. It is bullshit.

That is a sketchy/hack-ish boxing website. Could be bs. Its definitely not a very Wlad-like comment.

If getting dropped once or even twice is the absolute indication that you have a glass jaw, then 99% all all professional boxers have glass jaws. Wlad wouldn't have kept Wilder for 50 rounds of sparring if he couldn't take a punch.
I don't think there is anyone on this or any other forum that says Wilder is proven, can go 12 rounds hard, and has a granite chin. There are a lot of guys that hopes he fails, for some odd reason.
Give the winner credit, whoever it is, and don't list all the bullshit excuses for either guy.

I have never trusted what boxers say about each other. It becomes a popularity contest.

I'm calling bs on this article til I see another source with this sorta statement being made by Wladimir. Wladimir is respectful to mfers even when a cat like Shannon Briggs is f#cking with him & knocking him off his surfboard with paddles, or whatever the f#ck that was, for the most part. I've even seen positive comments made by Wladimir recently about Deontay. Maybe this sh!t is true, but Mark "Scoop" Malinowski is a f#cking hack ass writer & I wouldn't be shocked if this is straight up bs.
