3 knockdowns in 3 rounds. Maldonado went down like he was shot at the end of the first. I thought he was done. He came back and dropped Imam then got dropped again. They are trading hard shots.

Every time Maldonado went down it was like he was imitating a flopping fish.

That was one entertaining fight. I hope the rest of the fight card is half as good as this was.

Stiverne comes off as a really good guy. I hope he KO's Wilder and puts an end to the hype.

Great opening bout and further proof that we need more fights between two hungry and well matched fighters as opposed to show cases...

ruiz ripping into the body early. SC looks like he's going to tee off on ruiz's head, though

Damn another good start.
Santa cruz landing his jab at will but Ruiz shows no fear and walks straight through
good first round.

207 total punches thrown in 1st round, with slightly more from SC they say,
but it looked to me ruiz was a little busier. SC more effective though.
i say 10-9 SC, but 2nd round is also good, back and forth
