Looks like the Chavez Jnr fight might be well off now.
Froch is out until the summer with a damaged elbow.

Might end up facing DeGale, eh?

The Chavez fight was never going to happen...
This injury in also no doubt BS as Eddie wasn't able to deliver...TBF it was mission impossible to make that fight with the politics involved with Chavez anyway..
Froch v Degale this sumner is nailed on (just As Eddie wanted)

So is Eddie franticly trying to find a cheaper opponent for Brook as no ppv now.

Why no ppv? Having the ppv main event fall through has no stopped him still putting the ppv on in the past

Hmmm, was it really never going to happen? Are you sure or are you just assuming?
You are also adamant about the injury being BS...?
You're either in the know or just making stuff up...please let me know if what you are saying is the truth

Just looking at other angles

Conveniently leaves froch with the title for 6 months and degale nowhere to go but Groves????
Obviously the winner gets to fight Froch later in the year.
There's your PPV folks!

I don't think people would want or need to see Froch v Groves 3 and I very much doubt it could be sold with success. It is a shame the Chavez bout hasn't come off; I think it would have been a really good bout. DeGale looks to be improving steadily and could be a real danger man in 6 to 9 months, people were a bit quick to write him off.

Mate, I don't have any direct info on Froch...but I do know some other characters indirectly involved in the the fall out to this mess. if Carl is injured fair enough and whilst injuries can happen obviously at any time I don't recall Carl ever pulling out of a fight injured before & it's all very, very convenient
Isn't it?? Even if Eddie was capable of making the fight do you seriously think he wanted Froch to fight Chavez in a fight/promotion he would have no control of???
Absolutely no chance..he wants an in house fight under his full control which would be Froch - Degale this summer and make him the most money. Chavez as Eddie knows full is also a toxic liability...even if the fight was made I would be half expecting him to pull out injured, get arrested for smoking shit or get to the scales weighting 190lb..he's a joker.
I said from day one this Chavez fight is a pipe dream and I don't blame Eddie for it not happening it's too political to get done especially with Bob Arum in the background threatening to sue anything that mentions Jnrs name not to mention Al Haymons interest.

Well basically from the first letter you type to the last, is just hearsay. 'I know people indirectly involved yada yada.' You know sod all in other words. This culminates in you trying to make out like Matchroom wouldn't be raking it in if the Vegas bill with Froch v Chavez headlining had come off. They'd be getting a percentage of Carl's purse as well as a percentage of 2 sets of PPV money. They would be making way more than they would for Froch v DeGale at the 02 or the MEN. So no it isn't very 'convenient' that Carl's got injured at all. AND for some reason everyone seems to think Carl will now not be stripped of his IBF belt, when actually the IBF haven't come out and said he won't. I'd imagine the chances are that he will.
Also you say 'I said from day 1 this wouldn't happen.' Erm no you haven't. You've just said it now, after the event.

My prediction-
Froch won't fight again
Given my predictions of late I fully expect an announcement tonight about his next fight!

Firstly, you have no idea who I am or who I know- that's 1 of the Beauties of a forum I guess.
As for me not saying that I knew the fight wasn't going to happen if I could be bothered I would re-post up 1 of my threads I entitled which was called something like 'fast car can't deliver big fights' at the time I was laughed off the forum by the majority but everything I've said has been proven correct
I.e no Froch v Chavez (I'm not actually blaming Hearn for this not happening as I said in my previous post...Frampton- Quigg is nowhere to be seen....and neither is khan - Brook..but back on topic...
The fact is Chavez was never going to happen in a million years so all this matchroom would make such and such is completely irrelevant...bob arum came out about 2 months ago and said anybody who tries to make the fight without going through him is getting sued..if there was any doubt on my mind about the fight possibly happening it was extinguished for me then.

Frampton has mandatory issues to get out the way first and Khan is still waiting to have it thrust in his face that He won't fight Mayweather or Pacquiso before he takes the Brook fight. If those fights haven't happened by the end of the year, then that's when to make out that you're in the know when you aren't.
I don't know who you are but if you posted your name up I doubt anyone else would either. Claiming to be in the know when you clearly aren't is the height of sadness on this forum.

Oh ok the IBF told Franpton he couldn't fight Quigg that's the reason it's not happening...your right I mean it's not like Mandos havent stepped aside to allow other fights to happen first before or promoters haven't cut deals...it's nothing to so with the fact that Mcguigan has other plans from Frampton or he doesn't want to deal with Eddie.
Even if Khan doesn't fight Pac or a Mayweather I would put money on it that he won't fight Brook this year( i would love to be proven wrong)
Mate, as I said you don't know who I am so it's abit silly to say I clearly don't know anything...I'm not claiming to be anybody special but I'm close to boxing and some of the characters in it.

On the issue of Brook v Khan it will happen in 2015. We can either have a bet on it or we can just ask James to save this thread and bring it forward when the fights made.
The Froch fight was made and Arum was onside. I'm shocked it's not happening so that says to me the injury is genuine.

Step aside and avoiding mandatory and all that may happen with the WBO and if you're famous enough then with the WBC or WBA but the IBF are strict with them and we've seen this first hand with British fighters being stripped down the years.
All your bluster will come to nothing come the end of the year tho, so keep complaining that Kell Brook hasn't fought Khan while he's been injured. Enjoy it while it lasts.

As I said would love to be proven wrong and for Khan to fight Brook at Wembley this summer- just can't see it...Khan/Al Haymon/ GBP will demand to much..my money is on Khan v Bradley or the Guy he drew with somebody like that. Yeah let's bump the thread - it will make interesting reading with what where all debating on..the injury is BS and I'm pretty sure you know it

Yes the IBF are strict with mandatories but your trying to make out like applications cannot be at least made to excuse why Hearn has failed miserably to negotiate with McGuigan...also didn't Hearn have a promotional interest in Avalos? The fight is a million miles away and Hearn has zero leverage to negotiate on Quiggs behalf...Quiggs handling has been a total fcuk up but that's a different story as I didn't intend for this thread to be me bashing fast Eddie.
Who's complaining about Khan/Brook- of course the fight wasn't going to happen
Next that's not the argument- I'm saying it won't happen this year.

Brook can't box on March 28 then expect Khan to twiddle his thumbs for three months to find out if he gets through unscathed
