I follow the Hayemaker on Facebook and Twitter, and he posted a picture of himself looking in pretty good shape. If I remember correctly, he said that we would have an announcement from his people in October 2014, but as of yet there has been nothing. Has anyone heard anything at all or know something I don't?

Would love to see him back in the ring, but the longer it goes on without word, the smaller the chance he will make a return.

If he did come back, who would you like to see him fight?

I've fallen out of 'love' with David Haye & almost view him as a joke these days.

If he does come back; if he is anything like he was, then he wipes out all the HW's below Wladimir, but at 35, with three years ring rust & possibly a dodgy & not full functioning shoulder, I wonder how much he has left.

Also, judging by a recent picture of him, he's the size of a ferry at the moment & I wonder if bulking up to that degree could rob him of his primary asset; his speed?

Yes he isn't cut like he used to be. I imagine that no news is certainly bad news in this case. An injury like his is pretty major in boxing.

Let it go. Haye doesn't care, why should you? I've given up caring about boxers, who are disinterested in the sport themselves.

Haye is nothing more than a diva at this stage of his life.
A brilliant boxer who wasted most of his prime. I will always wonder what could have been.

I care because he is a boxer who I very much enjoyed watching. He has a huge ego, but is the sort of guy that has a lot of unfinished business in my opinion.

i decided to remember david haye for the
chisora bout, which was not an easy fight
and which he fought classy.

everything else: he accomplished to earn
a good living for life from boxing and not
many can say that.

I've been there myself. I'm not criticizing you for anything that I haven't done. I'll give you 3 examples: Cooney, Travis Kauffman, and Charles Ellis. Whether it's substance abuse, obesity, or just palin hanging on the beach, why should we care more about fighters fighting than they care themselves?

David has made himself a bit of a mockery at this point. Either fight or don't. Quit being so f#cking dramatic about it at this point.

Yep, and his best fight - in fact his only good heavyweight fight - was his final one.
