Solis beaten!

World No.1 amateur heavyweight, Cuba's Odlanier Solis was beaten by arch rival Roman Romachuk in Czechoslovakia recently in a pre-Olympic tournament.
The prolific Cubans have been doing the circuit and just about cleaning up prior to Athens.
The other notable Cuban casulty was middlweight Yordanis Despaigne who was outpointed by a massive 36-9 by another Russian, Matvei Korobov.
No suprises at bantam where phenom Guillermo Rigondeaux stopped the Indian to add to his Chemical cup and Acropolis cup gold's from last month and this month respectively.
Mario Kindelan didn't box.

Will Solis not be going to the Olympics then? Has he lost to this guy before?

Watch out for a guy in Athens called Vitaly Taibert. He's German and fights with a hands down flashy style. He fights at 57kg I think. He's class and should do great when he turns pro after Athens. Future world champ imo.
