gary delaney, micheal nunn, rubin carter, ike ibeacheu (or whatever !), micheal brodie, martin murray, tony ayala jnr, naseem hamed and didnt bowe do some time ?

That was my thought too. Man this thread could go on forever with the amount of convicts

Yes, the list is much longer than I thought.

For example, I just found out a week ago Ali was in jail, and I didn't know Hamed was until I read one of the posts in this thread.

carlos molina (the 154lb) had sex with a 13 year old in chicago and went to jail
and was an illegal alien so when he got out they told him he could leave if he
promised never to come back and then of course he came back illegally.
if he ever gets caught back again i think he will get like automatic 10 years.
that's why the bundrage fight was in cancun.

ahmed kaddour also got deported after going to jail for entering his own home
while separated from his wife.

i could swear johnny tapia had been locked up a few times and i would be shocked
if hector camacho was never arrested. rico hoye shot/killed someone as an amateur prospect
in high school and didn't turn pro until he got out in his mid-late 20's i think.

teddy atlas did time in rykers island but was never a pro and tyson was in jail a lot
as a juvenile as well. i actually heard when tony danza was a pro (also a former DI wrestler)
someone picked a fight with him at a bar and he beat the snot out of the guy and went to jail for it.

did broner get locked up for assaulting that old lady and stealing her purse as an amateur?
yeah, think the "never been incarcerated boxers" list would be shorter.

How many of these fighters have undiagnosed brain damage caused by multiple concussions sustained during childhood brain development?

Note - The brain doesn't fully mature until the mid 20's.

I hope some of these fighters donate their brains to science. That way, we can see all the terrible damage they've been subject to.

i remember jake lamotta being in jail for something in the movie raging bull,
but forget what it was for. a few years ago there was a guy i think in his 50's
who got out of jail after being proven innocent and had 1 pro fight on the
undercard i think of a hopkins fight. dewey bozella or something.
the 88 olympian andrew maynard i think took up boxing after getting
out of jail and won a gold after only a couple of years in the sport.

jack johnson going way back. i heard jack johnson got pulled over blowing
through some small town in the south in his new car full of hot women,
and when the cop asked him where he was going, he paid the ticket double
and told him "this is for when i do the same thing on the way back"

I think Lamotta and Graziano went to juvenile.

I'm sure it must be a big list if it's complete.

I seem to recall that when Prince Nas was doing his jail time the governor of the nick he was doing his sentence was Brian Anderson who was a former British-Middleweight champion in the 1980s.

Bernard Hopkins was in prison? Wow, you'd think he'd bring it up in interviews occasionally

Tapia was on watching his documentary on HBO for drug offences/use.

Ron Lyle - He died in prison and was resuscitated. Guy was a baaad dude!
