Today I heard from a credible source of mine that he will join the Matchroom stable this year but wouldn't confirm to me exactly when.

Wondering if anybody has heard about Galahad joining Matchroom?

If true, where would this leave Mick with Degale now at Matchroom and Fury working more with Warren/BN!?

He is a feeder promoter he will just bring along the next crop I hope he gets looked after for his efforts.

Really is beginning to look like ITV will be the home of boxing on terrestrial, rather than Channel 5.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; really do feel for Meaty Mick.

If he could have pulled it together he really could have had a super stable; Darren Barker, Carl Froch, Tyson Fury, Hughie Fury, James Degale, Chris Eubank Jnr, Kid Galahad, Lenny Daws…

Well "If "ifs" and "buts" were candy and nuts, we'd all have a merry Christmas" I guess.

Have any other good prospects slipped through his meaty fingers?

With Fury with BN & Barry allegedly going to misMatchroom what can Mick provide for Channel 5 surely all he could offer is another tournament similar to what was on before.

It will be interesting to see what happens because Dominic Ingle has a good relationship with Mick as he offers some of the lesser known fighters in his stable fight on his bills. From what I hear that's the only thing that is keeping Galahad there atm combined with the fact he is topping the bills in his home city.

I'm not sure if it's still the case but I'm sure that John Ingle was Mick's matchmaker for his shows.

Have they not said the only plans so far are for the Frampton Avalos fight? Bit premature that.

They're going to see how this one goes and take it from there. If it does well, they'll probably show more.

Yeah lets hope they do but for someone to say based on that, that they are now 'the home of boxing on terrestrial tv' is like I say premature.

Galahad looks a great prospect to me and hope his fights stay on free to air tv , plus fastcar has Quigg to look after at that weight
