Saltire promotions moving into dundee with a pro show at dundee caird hall, on the bill is ronnie Clark, iron mike towell, jamie wilson, debutant from Inverness and few other Gilmore fighters lined up, this is a great venue and can be a real success, Dundee fans are vocal and get behind fighters so with correct team running this show can be great, anybody on here who is at a loose end and would like to come to show, needs any advice on travel lodges etc drop me a message, my point of view id like to see ronnie v badger hughes, mikey towell v craig kelly, jamie wilson v Scott gladwin, all 50/50 fights with first two been scottish title fights,

Great news,the pro shows I've been to in Dundee have always been a great night, was surprised they stopped just as they were gathering momentum :(

badger is a FW and Ronnie's coach has stated here he can't do FW
I hope the show gets a better turn out than the disaster in the ice rink, some good fighters but you will need to get bodies in for Saltire or anyone to promote there again, hard job imo

Billy you keep saying the disaster of the Ice Arena. There was about 1300 there it just looked bad because the place holds 4000.. 1300 was decent considering it was the first show in Dundee in 50 year or something. Hopefully the Dundee lads can do a couple 100 tickets each and it will be a good night

The promoters actually promoting the show help for a start,even put a full page ad in the local paper will bring in numbers,whenever theres anything boxing related you get a tiny wee ad in the corner if you're lucky

I can't comment on the show because i wasn't there but I've spoke to David and Jamie about the shows and they were in charge of selling the tickets, i don't see why they would lie by saying they sold 1300 out of 4000 capacity? It wouldn't help anyone going forward. I hope it works out well for Dundee and Saltire because Scottish boxing needs more shows and the sooner all of the managers/promoters start working together so we can see the fights in Scotland we all want to see.

First you have to control who your replying too. I know brains aren't your strong point so I will let that slip. It was that bad of a show that Tony and his Mrs were away on a all inclusive holiday a couple of days afterwards. You didn't like it because you got abuse non stop. It's all the same your still wiping arses at the end of the day mate..

As for Ally keep the talking going your doing a good job of makin yourself look more silly by the day. You bam up these fighters and they leave you. It's sad in a way. I used to actually wonder why then I met you. Top coach. Top waffler though more stories the Roald Dahl

That won't happen! DU vs Celtic will be the 15th March I think. I really hope the show goes well for all involved, Scottish Boxing badly needs an fresh face for the fans to back!

Hey mailed you mate, hoping its a very good event, ronnie has been told they have a good fight lined up and mikey and jamie are good to watch, we usually do football nights out there and atmosphere very good

Ticket Prices and £90 VIP Ringside with 4 course meal... £60 reserved floor seating with Hot Buffet and £40 in the balcony. Is going to be a great night of boxing come show your support for everyone on the bill

Hey mate we have no idea who ronnie or mike is fighting just been told be decent fights, gonna be a hsrd sale as dundee United in cup final the day later but hopefully we can sell decent amount. Problem is who can we see them in with, no decent prospects will travel,
