Thirty five years ago, in Las Vegas, NV, on a Saturday afternoon, the great Roberto Duran becomes undisputed lightweight champion of the world by stopping long time nemesis Esteban DeJesus of Puerto Rico. Duran of Panama City, Panama was 26 years old and beat for the second time the only man so far that beat him and fought him three times. It was the Hands of Stone at his very best using angles and great counterpunching against a fine fighter like Esteban. Both were champions and decided to clash for the undisputed crown. The way it should be.

It was Duran's last fight at lightweight, in which he cleaned up the division in 6 years with 12 title defenses. A division record. Eleven of those title defenses were won by KO.

It was January 21, 1978. The fight was televised on CBS.

That was his road to a brilliant Career... and Roberto Duran becoming the greatest pound per pound "Fighter of All Time"
His record proves that and can't be disputed. If you paid for a ticket to a Duran fight you got your moneys worth.
If you paid to see some other fighters all you saw was someone on the their bicycle running around the ring all night.

I don't know as the best all time pound per pound, but, at least I know he was the greatest fighter of the last 50 years in my view.

But more "troubling" is your remark "that its best not to engage me in dialogue"
Seems very clear to me that actually you are "the invention of someone desperately attention starved"
when you make any attempt to force other people not to engage anyone.
If you disagree with my or anyone's comments please do so...that should be the focus and not the rhetoric you prescribe to.
