It's a bargain compared to Eddies.

I wouldn't make plans to go to any event involving Haye even if it was taking place in my back garden..that's how unrealiable the man is and I'm a fan.

Tough sell as you have both Frampton and Fury bills on the same night! Most proper fans will more than likely be tuning in to that. What's happening with Haye anyway? Is he coming back or what?

He found fame & lost humility but still has a good strong fan base wether people like him or not.

As long as people pay him money to say this stuff, he is going to continue to say this stuff.

To be honest, I am of the same opinion as most people on here when it comes to Haye - I just find it sad that somebody who was a top genuine world class Cruiserweight and won a version of the Heavyweight title has fallen so much with regards to public opinion.

A total of 7 fights in 7 years.And I do not even know how many cancellations he has had.
He frustrates me.With all of his talent he should of been beating the Povetkins,and pulev's.
Instead we see a diva who likes to drag the public along.

It did go ok in the end but David was hard work at the actual dinners and often didn't look particularly interested and we had a few issues post event from Rotherham because he made a few jokey comments with adult humour and there were females and some youngsters in the crowd.

Which is ironic as my kids have cost me a fortune by me NOT pulling out

Who goes to these things? It's a genuine question. I mean, to part with £75 of your hard earned cash in these times of austerity for an average meal and listening to Haye speak then a staged piccy?

That money would be better spent on half decent tickets on a good live fight card or something.

To my knowledge, I once got a free pass to a Roberto Duran night..... You sit down, have dinner. There is a high table with the boxer in view.

After dinner and before pudding (I think) there is a Q & A session with the boxer. Generally this involves a number of local 'faces' and 'hard men' asking asinine, predictable questions such as 'who did you think was the best fighter you fought' or 'out of all the fighters you fought, who hit you the hardest?'.

The poor boxer has to pretend he's interested in the idiot's question and answer it sincerely. Afterwards, those with more than a tenner left line up and get a chance for a photo. (Actually I'm very proud of my photo with Duran. Poor guy had apparently got his room burgled before the event.)

And that's about it. If you really are a fan of the fighter and you're unlikely to meet him again (for example he's based abroad) - it's probably worth it.

But I would be extremely concerned if anyone genuinely booked a ticket to 'a night with Eddie Hearn'.

Only 2 hours wages so not a huge amount to pay.

I thought that it was more than a quick QandA I thought that the person stands up and tells a few stories and then mingles with the crowd.
