Top Rank CEO Bob Arum, who promotes Pacquiao, said HBO and Showtime have agreed on how they would broadcast a fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao, leaving only two issues remaining in negotiations.

"We had four issues and we resolved two," Arum said, per the Associated Press. "Now we're working on resolving the other two. Unless something else comes up at the last minute, that's what my take is."

Arum wouldn't say what the final two issues were, but said he major financial points of the fight have been agreed upon, including a reported 60-40 split in the purse in Mayweather's favor.

"There's a lot of devil in the details and that's what we're sorting through now," Arum said. "The remaining issues are obviously important to the participants, and are things we have to work out."

While Arum told AP a television deal was reached, ESPN boxing writer Dan Rafael said one network told him it's "not true."

Al Haymon, who is Mayweather's adviser, reportedly has been representing the fighter in negotiations. Haymon doesn't talk to the media, and Mayweather prefers to communicate through social media, which he did Thursday.

Mayweather posted a picture on his Instagram account Thursday showing him meeting with Pacquiao. Mayweather didn't reveal much about the meeting, but seemed a little agitated about the back-and-forth scenario between both camps that has played out in recent weeks.

"I set up this meeting with Manny Pacquiao to get this fight done but they will continue to tell the public it's us and that's NOT TRUE," Mayweather wrote. "So while we wait y'all go download @Shots ASAP so I can keep you all updated on the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight, that we are trying to make happen or follow @fight hype on IG, Twitter & Facebook or visit http://www.fight hype.com for the best Boxing & MMA updates."

You know if the two little issues were in Floyd's court to agree to, Arum would put it out there. His silence on that tells the story imo. Maybe there is a couple little issues on Pac's side they have to agree to? Oh my - lets start the chants to tell Pac to sign the contract and quit ducking! Pac is afraid! There is no other scenario! :OhYes:

We don't need to stoop that low, leave that to Rodian and MontrealStupor.

Floyd will just lie lie and lie some more. Keep blaming Arum. Use the photo with Pac in Miami to deceive the fools into thinking he was seriously trying to negotiate a fight.

Floyd is a master of deception. He will lie himself to death to avoid losing to Pacquiao and Arum.

To take $32m instead of $200m is the smoking gun. Floyd does not want to fight Pacquiao. The only way out is to blame Arum.

WTF are you talking about? What 200 million??

Give us the proof of that please, we're waiting....................................

Arum said there are only 2 issues and yet you are still here wanting so badly to claim that "Floyd is scared" and childish crap like that when there is more than enough information out there from Koncz and others as well as Manny to say that they have been in negotiations.

You must know something that Manny, Koncz and Arum doesn't, if so, please share that with us.

Within moments of this story's release, representatives on all sides of the negotiation vehemently denied the story.

"New controversy in Floyd Mayweather v Manny Pacquiao mega fight"

https://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/th ... 14329.html

Odds of a fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao dwindle by the day, in large part thanks to promoter Bob Arum's loose lips.

One person... told Yahoo Sports, "Believe me, if this fight doesn't get done, it will be because of Bob Arum. Nobody can figure what he is doing or why he is doing it."
Todd duBoef is expressing much frustration with his Stepdad (Arum) stating that "he cannot control him" and it is appearing moreso that Bob Arum doesn't want this fight just as Alex Ariza has been stating.

Todd duBoef isn't sure why Arum is throwing roadblocks in the media and stifling the negotiations but if any blame here is to be thrown then it should be obvious by now that it is and should be accredited to Bob Arum as it has been him all along and not Floyd Mayweather.

I didn t read everyone but having Bob saying we solved 2 out of 4 issue when he was saying the deal was done except for the broadcast give me the idea that there will always be something. When these last 2 issues will get fix Bob will come out and say: we had 8 issues we fixed 4 of them and bla bla bla ... Hope this fight comes out and will be the night of a lifetime but trully i hope Bob doesn t make a penney out of it

This is the quote that gives them away. Lying source won't give his name (it's probably Espinoza). Arum is doing nothing but try to make the fight. Even bringing in Les Moonves to exert pressure on the coward.

THis is all about Floyd playing juvenile games and projecting what he's doing all on Arum. Floyd is killing the fight. And trying to frame it on Arum. Easy to see.

Fight isnt happening in May, I can tell you that much. Probably not ever, but definitely not in May. We are approaching middle of February and Cinco de Mayo is less than 3 months away. There is no way a fight of this magnitude is having less than a 3 month press tour. Forget it.

Did Floyd molest you as a child?
Did he kick your puppy?
Did he steal your lollipop?

I mean come on the hatred you have for the man is unbelievable.

He knows more than everybody on this deal, including Manny, Arum, Koncz and Debouf, there's nothing you can tell this guy or nothing you can show him that says it isn't Floyd.

Floyd has posted pics of him meeting with Manny twice, he has created a blog on a website/app for people to follow and see the progress they are making and yet you have this one person (MontrealStupor) who seems to know more about what's killing the negotiations than anyone else, including Arum, Manny, Koncz and Deboufe.

Amazing.
