Kevin Mitchell's disappearing England tattoo.

I was sure that Mitchell used to have an England tattoo on his arm, and he has seems to have gathered more tattoos, and I realised that the England one is gone. Not covered up, removed by the look of things, as there's no sign of the red colour or shape.

He had it in the Prescott fight, and it seems gone for the Katsidis fight. Very odd.

I dint want to read too much into it and maybe he just wanted a trendier bunch of tattoos but I can't help feeling there's more to it (another boxing conspiracy theory lol.)

I know he's a big labour supporter and labour can't stand any form of nationalism.... It's odd for a working class West Ham boy to suddenly reject their country like that.

there's about four pics of him in this week's BN, but the bigger ones are from the wrong side. You definitely appear to be on to something though reggae. Maybe he fancied getting that sleeve done and the England thing was just in the way.

Never been a fan of flag tattoos, nearly all of mine are original anyway apart from the bio-hazard one on my back.

I've got 4 tally marks on my arm now, you should have seen the look on some girls face when I explained what they meant, it's how many animals have shot out in front of my bike and come a cropper, 2 rabbits, a seagull and a fox.

I dont want to start another conspiracy, but the other thing that struck me was how rapidly Mitchell has aged since the tattoo disappeared? He looks like a fresh faced boy band type, and then when he reappeared minus the England tattoo...... He seemed to have aged 20 years?

Is the post England tattoo Mitchell actually a completely different person than the original Kevin Mitchell?

Did the original Kevin Mitchell disappear to become a rent boy, and Mitchell's promoter, not wanting to lose money on a world title fight and lucrative pay days, bring in a mediocre Mitchell lookalike to replace him?

This could explain why Kevin boxed so badly against Katsidis and Burns?
