I spend most of my time posting on B&I but occasionally post here but its becoming intolerable due to the outrageous amount of threads concerning Mayweather-Pacquiao but what really does my nut in is the constant slating of fighters,I don't think its the majority of posters,more just the same dozen or so who bog down the threads

It seems people on here like a couple of fighters and think everyone else is poo,anyone who has been defeated is poo even if they've lost to a top level guy their still poo

Also if you like one fighter you hate his rival,isn't it possible to like both Floyd and Manny???

I have said this.I like them both.Pacquiao is ten times more exciting to watch then Floyd.
Floyd is so technically superior to everyone he is boring to most casual fans.
I do like watching both for different reasons.
Again I have said this also.I do not like either as a person.Just as a fighter.
Floyd is the perfect prick bad guy.What is not to hate?
Pacquiao's personality just irritates me because of the perceived good guy the media portrays.

Just cause you enjoy one doesn't mean you can't enjoy the other.


And yes I am about to scream with all the freaking threads on these 2.

i wish those 2 had just fought years ago and i usually don't read or contribute to
those threads because they're boring. i would add a cstegory, though. there are
khan supporters who call anyone who is realistic about his place in the sport a hater.
i think it's not just this site but all of boxing has always had a culture of calling
fighters bums and tomato cans, even world ranked guys and contenders,
and in general the internet breeds lots of people who want to make every
disagreement personal, like they're having some imaginary contest with anyone
who disagrees with them. one thing boxrec should do is to record IP's so if
they start seeing 20 different names under one IP and you ban one, ban all
the others and clear out the internet loiterers and poltergeists.

I like both Pacquiao and Mayweather but I despise these types of Pacquiao fans here like MontrealSTUPOR/Ricky/Rodian/Bnovelist/Cheppaa and a few others I left out that simply states false information, say stupid and childish crap like "he's ducking" when the facts point the other way.

I do not like Floyd's persona outside of the ring but I think he is the best right now in it, though I don't consider him TBE. Manny is IMHO skill-wise the 3rd best in the game behind Floyd and Ward, I like 3G, Hopkins, JMM, Bradley, Maidana and a bunch of others.

With the backwards ass logic going on in this forum you're probably gonna be banned for being aggressively logical. BoxRecJesus knows trolling never gets you banned. My ignore list grows by the day cuz so many people here post meaningless bs or stupidity all day. Self-banning people via the ignore list has also shown me that many of these types of people just argue amongst themselves largely. I wouldn't be surprised if some of these posters are the same person arguing with themselves.
