You're right about the opponent - he's never beaten an opponent with a winning record, and four or five of his nine victories have come against the same fighter (who had exactly zero wins on his own record).
Still, as Dennis Hobson says, "It's a prestigious belt".

We're going and looking forward to it.
Ross has an exciting style and yes he is still commonwealth champ and very proud of it rightly so.
Seems a genuine nice lad good luck to him.

Was Smoes poor when he boxed the Irish kid for the same title?Ross was down for a voluntary defence of his Commonwealth but his opponent pulled out and this was vacant and its a good Title.
Ross won his belt against an unbeaten kid and short notice although he was in training for a 6 rounder.Everyone under estimated him but he did the almost impossible and caused an upset. He is a good lad always happy and laughing and puts alot of work in promoting himself.
Hope he does it

Najib v Fazeldin was the highlight of the press conference attended by Kel And Kid Galahad.
Both fighters constantly hurling abuse at each other.Dennis Hobson stood between them holding them apart.Should be a great fight for central area title.Check bits of it out on the star website.
should be a lively weigh in
