I read an article saying that Tyson Fury's father has come out of prison and is going to be training Tyson again. I hope that he continues to use his uncle Peter, who has been doing an excellent job with him.

Hopefully, he's just carrying the spit bucket!

All i'm bothered about is that they let Fury carry on carrying on with his twitter account! I think he's absolutely brilliant on there and is by no way as daft as he comes across. Spelling errors, outrageous statements etc, the guy is solid gold entertainment!

I'm surprised he's out, he got 11 years practically 4 years ago to the day so he would have to serve at a bear minimum of five years six months, unless he spent a long time on remand?

Reduced on appeal to 9 years, other 6 months must have been on remand.

The BBC had a photo of Peter with "John Fury" as the cutline earlier. Don't know if they've changed it.

Peter looks like the brains of the outfit lets hope the two brothers don't fall out to Tyson's detriment as he is a very real world title prospect now.

I always felt john was a negative influence on tysons career. Thought he encouraged the cocky, ego driven side of it. "I can beat any man" and all that nonsense. Also thought he put a lot of extra pressure on Tyson by comparing him to great fighters and saying he's a world champ guaranteed. Hope he doesn't upset the applecart for Peter more than anything, he's worked hard on moulding Tyson and doesn't deserve to be pushed aside now.

I think he gauged a man's eye out at at a car auction.

For spilling his pint a few years previously.

Yup. He interviews well but hard to have anything but utter contempt for a man who does such thing over something so trivial:

That article isn't reliable it says Fury never faced a decent boxer well he fought Akinwande who was pretty successful. My guess is this was a long running traveller feud and Fury had good reason to go after Sykes. Eye gouging though is inexcusable and a man of Fury's strength and fighting experience should not have resorted to it.

Big question is, can they stick together if he loses!! Usually there's a scape goat somewhere in camps.
