Lee Selby v Evgeny Gradovic for his IBF title in London on April 25th.

Thoughts? Don't know too much about this chap.

If Selby performs like he can I would expect him to beat Gradovich in a close but clear win. Based on the few times I have seen Gradovich, he is a decent fighter and is technically sound but I don't think he does anything spectacularly well. Tough fight but very winnable for Selby IMO.

by 7 rounds to 5 with very few or no debatable rounds. happens quite often.

Burns-Martinez is a great example.

Like how Beltran did it.. Before the judges shafted him.

I think it would be,if they had an arena which could hold around 10000.The Motorpoint is too small for a big World title promoted properly,so I can see the attraction of bundling it with Degale/Joshua and try to do big numbers at the o2,a shame for the Welsh who have to travel though.

We always have to travel. Leeds 2 weeks before for me to see the new British LWW Champion.

I'm glad it's in the UK. My biggest worry is that it's the day before the London Marathon. Trying to get a room in London will be an expensive nightmare. Most rooms will be booked well in advanced. If Matchroom can't get Degale V Dirrel on the card I can see them moving the show to Cardiff. Cleverly is already scheduled for the 25th which will support a move to Cardiff. But fornicate it, I'll watch Selby anywhere!

Good point that. Wonder what time they start shutting the roads around Greenwich too

Whilst people seem to think Selby will win Gradovich has been in with much better fighters.

Find out if Selby is World Class though looking forward to it.

Just hope hearn doesn't put this card PPv

He will,if he can get Dirrell-Degale sorted. If he can put on a another world title fight on it as well, then I don`t have a problem. If it end up being Dirrell-Degale,Selby-Gradovich and Joshua-Johnson it`s debatable it`s ppv worthy, it would be missing one for world title fight to top it off despite it pissing on the last ppv

Thankfully I don't think he can get Dirrell over, not for April 25th anyway because Anthony's fighting that weekend, so we should be safe from PPV.

Yeah, the 25th might not happen for that fight. If Manny and Floyd do fight that will be ppv on Sky I`m afraid for the week after.

Interesting what channel that will be I think it may be BN but that deserves its own thread when the fight is annoucned which seems imminent.

BN has done brilliant getting all the mayweather and pacquiao fights for the past two or three years but if there is competition from other channels for this one it might be too costly for fwank. It would be a hell of an achievement if he got it.

It really would be a superb achievement and a bit of a vindication for the long-term subscribers. As you say though, that fight will likely go straight to the highest bidder, so Sky will probably get it. Am happy either way, but if it goes to BT Sport I'll be fvcking fuming.

Probably too expensive for Frank, but not for Bill Ives.

If May v Pac is won by BNation, it will be PPV - no way this goes out free to air for any broadcaster.

Selby vs Gradovich is a fantastic match up. Selby the clever mover with sharp punches, though a possible lack of real fire, against the limited up tough and busy Gradovich who has a sensational engine (who ever said Gradovich does nothing special just needs to look at his out put).

Rumour is Amagasa (guy who fought Rigo last December) wants the winner so that would be pretty interesting as well.

Just seen odds for this.

Selby 8/15

Gradovich 6/4

lets all be honest they aren't at the level of the rest in the division.....Walters, JG, etc.

It may be a watchable fight but will end in a decision win for someone
