Murray is 1 day away from getting ko'd, litle doubt on my mind, maybe he survives, but it will be a sure loss. I say KO within 5, because Murray is aggressiv and therefore will exchange quick with GGG and that will be his downfall.

as i know k2 is cool with anybody in the business, or am i wrong?

so, against who could GGG fight at the end of the year, realistic, so stop saying GGG-Froch by the end of the year. sure, this also for me would be the best fight possible in terms of action and excitemant, but since Froch is looking for Chavez jr or somebody else at MGM and GGG seems to clearly wanna stay at middleweight or surely would be pleased to go down at 154 for big money fights, therefore the fight doesnt seem possible.

3G should look to move up because Quillin and the rest of the cap'n crunch crew (Cotto, PQ, etc., etc.) are looking to avoid him because he is too high risk for them, no way should GGG be looking at 154, he walks around heavy so a move to 68 can only strengthen him and give him a better quality selection in terms of bigger names like Ward and the rest of the fighters.

i mean like i said, sure i would love to see ggg vs abraham or froch....but, 154 is were the fame, the money is. i mean, canelo, cotto, all love to box at 154. but i think 154 is as unrealistic as super middleweight. also ward brings 0 cash and is just a boring fight. ward will move and crab a lot and certainly win by boring UD. not a fight i am looking for.

as ggg becomes more famous on and on i think that there wont be any place to hide and eventualy all the top middleweight will face him, dont you think so?

That is a huge assumption to think that Ward will have to crab vs GGG, it is also unfair to call him boring when the other opponent is there and supposed to try and make him fight.

We can't keep giving passes to 3G if no one wants him at 60, he walks around huge and can easily make 68 so there are no excuses and people are already saying he can beat Ward, Kovalev, Chavez and whoever else but his resume looks dismal, Dirrell has a better resume than 3G.

He has to move up at least to 68, this isn't about money, everyone keeps giving him credit for something he hasn't even remotely accomplished yet.

GGG vs. Lemeiux is what I want to see

My hope is that HBO, feeling threatened by Heymon's moves, offers Cotto silly money for a GGG/Cotto unification and makes it happen.

That would probably be the move to make.

I feel like GGG should be racing towards fighting Miguel & with Saul tiptoeing into the 160lb division I think GGG gots a leg up at the moment on getting Miguel if HBO just got behind making that fight asap. It sounds like GGG is already lined up for May (Martin must be having self confidence issues about that as thats a pretty solid diss towards him) & Miguel is likely looking at a New York PR day fight in June so I definitely expect the 2nd half of 2015 will involve a big fight between Miguel & GGG or Saul.

I kinda feel like with Saul newly signed to HBO & the clearly labeled future of boxing tag dangling from his head HBO will give first dibs to him for any Miguel fight. If GGG was smart he'd say f#ck May & try to line up a fight in June in NY with Miguel. That might be his only opportunity to grab that fight before Saul does & a Miguel W is less meaningful.

I like watching Ward......what Wlad does is called excessive holding. Ward's win over Froch and Kessler were masterful, the only boring thing about the fight was that Kessler/Froch won about 2 rds combined. Looked confused and Kessler was broken mentally and physically. Froch took the ass whooping like a man.

Totally agree, ward is class. Not boring, actually he is very aggressive and very accurate. He doesn't hype fights, but that does not bother me either. It's a crying shame he's not fighting.

Watch the froch fight again, froch is a genuine warrior and ward bully's him in every dpt, which is hugely impressive!!

Ward is very good but I think it's often exaggerated how widely he beat Froch. No doubt he bossed most of the fight but he also faded late and in my opinion four rounds for Froch is justifiable.

As for GGG, I'm suspecting the N'dam/Lemieux winner may be in his future and I wouldn't be shocked if a Cotto fight is made.

Floyd is an exception. BHop is not a Haymon fighter. When did Russell fight on HBO ?

By what date does Cotto have to fight GGG? If Cotto vacates, does GGG, being the interim WBC champion, automatically become the WBC Champion or does he have to fight the next ranked opponent for that belt?

Agree with this. People talk like Froch wasn't even in the fight. Ward was the clear winner, but if I remember right the scores showed he was. I can't see Cotto, Canelo, Quillin wanting to fight GGG, unless he looks vulnerable this fight. Canelo might want to, or say he does, but GBP won't let it happen until GGG passes 35.

If it is true that he's having difficulty in getting a fight with Alvarez and Cotto, then he probably would be looking at a fight with Andy Lee.
Though I do wonder if the old warhorse, Darren Barker could be tempted back for another crack at a World Middleweight Title.

Hopefully 3G is looking past this fight like his fandom is and we get a surprisingly competitive fight today.

He had a broken hand for most of the fight though.

You know there is a slim chance that GGG will lose to Murray tonight. and then I guess a Murray re-match would be in his future.

The telecast starts in about 4 minutes. will the fight be competitive? I hope so. I wonder if Murray will try to do a Tyson vs Holyfield 1 and hold GGG when he gets in close?

The difference is that Golovkin doesn't need to get inside.
