Good post. It's hard not to like Crawford. Young man with old school values and has some sand to go along with his skills. It will be fun to see him matched up with some top guys at 140.

Agreed Crawford seems a gent,I was gutted when he beat Burns but I think eventually Ricky will be honoured to have shared a ring with him
And he probably has the best fans in the US

That helps explain his success in my mind. One of the dumbest things I hear some of the best boxers on the planet say, now & in the past, is they don't/didn't watch film, either their's, their opponents or other great fighters. How watching & learning from previous or current guys wouldn't help you in some kinda way I don't know how they don't see.

Good share.. He's a very good student then.
He is one of the few young fighters who I want to see real busy this year.

I love watching this kid, not his crazy family jumping around in spandex at ringside, but he's one of my favorites. The thing that I like best is that this kid has a chip on his shoulder. He finds another gear when the fight turns rough. He gets hit with a shot and something turns in him. I wonder how he'll do moving up in weight though. He's pretty darn skinny, not that it means that much. Great new face of boxing though, i agree.
Floyd will never fight him but I think that Manny will before it's all said and done.

I dig Terence & think he has a great chance at being a top 3 P4P guy in the next 2 years or so, but the brother ain't even won a title at 140 yet. Floyd & Manny are at 147 & longstanding champions there. Terence hasn't earned being in the ring with either man. Lets let him win a 140 title, defend that a couple times, move up to 147 when most likely Keith or Kell or Errol or whoever is running it & fight them & see whats up. Maybe if Terence is lucky Floyd or Manny will have hit upon hard times or for some horrible dumb reason never quit & at 39, 40, 41 Terence can catch a old Floyd or old Manny in the ring for nice $$$ in 2018 or whatever.
Personally I think Manny is done after the Floyd fight. He's already had a story come out a day or two ago talking about his retirement is "coming soon" which seems an odd thought when you are 10 weeks away from the biggest fight of your life. The guy has made millions, he's about to be running a country or an important person in his countries progress worse case & he's about to make the biggest payday of his life which should clear him of the often rumored debts to Arum & get his IRS stuff handled (don't think thats been sorted out yet, but idk). Plus Manny can make money doing a million different things in the Philippines. Manny doesn't need to stick around in the getting hit in the head business after May 2. I'm hoping he walks off into the sunset on May 3 & Floyd does the same on Sept. 13 or 20 or whatever weekend is Mexican Independence Day.
