why? because you want a new vibe in the heavyweight division, an exciting champ that goes for action instead of a complet boring fight with an tko at the end. oh god, it would so great if wilder beat up wlad, one of the best days of my life hahaha....

for everybody "biggest fight" can mean other things, its complex. for some biggest fight means which one would make the most ppv numbers, or biggest names against each other and for others it would be which fight brings the biggest action. like if someone told me, "the biggest fight in the next few month isnt mayweather/pacquiao but provodnikov/matthysse", than i wouldnt shake my head, because i understands what he means. mat-prov has the potential of being one of the best action packed fights ever, while mayweather/pacquiao will make around 3 million pays but could end up a snorefest if floyd runs and holds all day and jabs himself to a comfortable ud, think about it. 2 heavy handed warriors, who have a certain aura amongs them with a ko ratio of 85 % vs 63 %, now thats bad ass.

Yes in a nutshell.

I just have different expectations from the heavyweight champion.
The division used to be exciting now it is just plain boring.Everyone complained about
John Ruiz and his hugging and holding.But they drip their own juice over Wlad who does
pretty much the same thing.

Assuming Broner wins then the next big fight should be a rematch between Broner and Maidana and after this once Mayweather wins then the rematch vs Cotto will take place at MW

Cotto vs. Canelo is still huge

Kovalev vs. Stevenson

Crawford vs. Broner

Golovkin vs. Ward

Rigo vs. Cruz

Fury vs. Wilder vs. Wlad

Brook vs. Khan


That's just to name few, there are a lot of big fights that can be made that would have boxing fans very excited, but none of them will be at the level of Mayweather/Pacquiao.

I mostly agree with this list. I think Terence vs Adrien seems outta place though as Terence hasn't even fought at 140 & Adrien hasn't done nearly anything since the L to Marcos. And idk that there is much of a buildup for GGG vs Andre quite yet being that they aren't in the same weight division & Andre's promoter issues has gotten a lot of the heat he had off of him.

I think Saul vs Miguel is the clear #1 next big fight. I think there are a lot of interesting big fights still getting ripened & could happen later this year or early next year.

Gonzalez Vs Inoue

Monetarily, the biggest fights will still be the winner (and loser) May 2, versus Cotto or Canelo.

Next is probably JCC jr vs whoever can drag him away from the blunts and the buffet table.

The heavies are likely next with the right hype, Wlad vs Wilder/Fury

Ward vs. Froch in England can be huge.

GGG vs. Cotto/Canelo/JCCjr/Froch probably in that order.

Kovalev vs Stevenson in Montreal.

Both Kovalev-Stevenson and Klitchko-Wilder are huge fights. Ward-GGG will be huge when it happens.

P.S. GGG vs Cotto or Canelo will be one sided beatings, so not big fights in terms of intrigue.

ward-ggg would also certainly be one sided. easy ud for ward. i mean, but thats not the point, for me the main reason to watch a fight is excitemant, were is ward exciting? he should stop boxing right now. now you gonne ask me, "than why do you have klitschko-wilder on your list and you hate boring fighter and wlad arguably tops the list of boring fighters?" well, its just that i think wilder would KO wlad and that would make me very happy. i dont think ggg would KO ward, i think ward technicly controles ggg en route to a easy UD. stevenson, bertebiev or kovalev against ward, that would be great, because there is a chance 80 % chance that all 3 big guys wreck ward, but thats to unrealistic, because it does not seem that ward is ever gonne leave super middleweight.

GGG wins the fight but Canelo would be a good scrap while it lasted

until the next generation come along the biggest fights left have to be the Heavyweight, which will sell well

2 prime fighters with exciting style and both undefeated heavy fisted punchers, both #1 in each their own divisions, now that is super rare.

you never asked what would be the most entertaining bout
(if you had, it would be meaningless talking about it in context of a mayweather fight, which will probably be as boring as ever and see 2 past their prime fighter not able to do what they could have 6 years ago)

You quite specifically asked which bout would be the biggest and I answered in a specific way, not only listing the bout that would involve the 2 best fighter left after Pac/FMJ (unquestionably ward/golovkin) but the biggest bouts in terms of size of event (any heavy weight contest between Klit/wilder/fury)
