DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY INFORMATION ABOUT MY GRANDAD ON MY MOTHERS SIDE REGARDING THE CLUB, REALLY WANT THAT PHOTOGRAH, ANY DETAILS OF HIS TRAINING, AND THE BOXERS HE TRAINED, AND MY UNCLE TOMMY MURRAY-WHO WAS A BOXER, ANY ONE KNEW THESE TWO, ANY FIGHTS THEY HAD OR ANYTHING ON MERSEYSIDE.LET ME KNOW.

If you have his name and date of birth, sometimes sites like ancestry.co.uk can have information. When I did my family tree, I found my Grandad was on several other peoples trees (you can search them) and there where photos and newspaper articles that someone had put on there about him. Might be worth a shot and those sites usually have a free membership period.

hi lee,tommy junior was my grandad,larry his brother also boxed,think he was the one that had a few professional fights,so far the best place for information on them is newspapers of the day,not necessarily local ones i found one fight in a hull newspaper,and if you go on ancestry youll see alot of their history.Tommy snr is also mentioned in a couple of books as well.Happy hunting. berni
