- Main event lived up to the hype. It was a real coming out party for Thurman, but Guerrero showed incredible heart and made the last few rounds very memorable. Guerrero may be best served by dropping down to 140. I could see them making Guerrero/Broner.

- Broner/Molina was a lame showcase fight for Broner. Molina had no chance, he's a low workrate power puncher who will occasionally KO B-list fighters late. He had no chance and his performance was really poor.

- What happened to the Mares fight?

- I actually didn't mind Marv Albert and preferred him to Jim Lampley's self-important blathering. SRL was pretty awful though. Just completely inane throughout. Also Flores and Ali commentating from the corners was pretty useless.

- I love Steve Smoger. He is the Ron Swanson of boxing referees.

- The big screens and entrances were a little too pro wrestling for my taste. I prefer the no-nonsense HBO/Showtime production, even the UFC went that route several years ago.

Yet some people (on here) actually gave Molina a good shot. The betting line was actually driven all the way down to -500 from -1100 which was basically free cash.

Abner fought on NBC Sports right after Robert vs Keith.

I thought the PBC card is good for boxing as it brings pretty high quality fights to a larger audience, if they could stay awake through the Broner fight, they were in for a treat in the Guerrero Thurman fight.
I think Guerrero should think about quitting boxing though, I am not saying he couldn't win a bunch more fights, but he took a ton of punishment from Thurman, I say if you have few million in the bank go smell the roses for a year or two and get into another line of work. Better for Robert to keep his health and enjoy the fruits of his labor.

I'd give it a C+
It was nice for US fans to have boxing on free TV (over here it was on allegedly so it being free meant bugger all to me)
The first fight flat out stunk. Broner did what he had to to win but Molina did nothing.
The second fight was solid entertainment but not the wowzer fight some are making it out to be.
The commentary was poor and the presentation as a whole lacked certain things.

Strangely the best fights of the day were free via the Top Rank website. Rex Tso vs. Michael Enriquez was brilliant and Kuok Ken Ng was in an entertaining brawl. Yet we don't seem to have people raving about those two bouts.

It'll get better, I hope, but that didn't fill me with the excitement it perhaps should have done.
