Supermiddleweight titles - USA vs UK

It's looking like Froch vs Ward for the WBA is highly likely, Degale vs Andre Dirrell for the IBF is set and Groves vs Anthony Dirrell WBC may not be a million miles away.

How many belts do you think will end up this side of the water by the end of the year?

Degale vs Dirrell is happening in America. We know that.
Let's assume Froch vs Ward happen in the UK (I'm saying this to give Carl a fighting chance, if he fights Ward on his doorstep again, he loses every time)
And I'm guessing if Groves gets Anthony Dirrell he'll have to travel, Dirrell is the champion and I'm not sure Sauerland are going to break the bank to bring him over

So assuming the above happens, who do you think takes the belts? (I'll run this on CS for comparison, the results are predictable  )

I've gone for Ward to beat Froch.
Even in the UK and with Ward having had the lay off, I still think Ward has too much for Carl, it could be closer, but still a decent points win for Ward

I've taken Degale to beat Dirrell. It'll be a big ask for James away from home but I think he could do this. He's arrogant enough not too let the away crowd get to him, i reckon and he sounds like a fighter that really wants it.

As for Groves, I do think he's got the ability to be a world champion and Anthony Dirrell is by no means the strongest title holder out there,
I don't see Groves stopping him, you don't go 24 rounds with Bika if you're not tough
It could be a tight affair and will go to the cards and I reckon Dirrell will just do enough to take a tight decision

You're only as good as your last fight and Groves recent form has been poor. I'd take Anthony Dirrell over him at this point.

Ward is a nightmare to box and is brilliant at shutting down and negating an opponent's offense - can't see Froch overcoming him bar a puncher's chance.

Degale vs Andre Dirrell is a 50/50 affair in my eyes; especially as it's in the states. I've tentatively gone for Degale as he's looked brilliant recently. But he needs to get his tactics spot on for this or he'll lose a decision like in the Groves fight; another fight he had the ability to win clearly.

Ward has to be seen as a favorite, although Froch is not without a chance if in UK.

I favor DeGale but after Haymon shoving 3.1G he will be determined to keep the belt. And it is very hard to clearly dominate or stop Dirrell. So I say DeGale will get screwed.

Groves is a better boxer then Antony bit his recent form is on a decline. 50/50

Gonna be a pessimist and say there's a strong chance we lose all three.

Ward is likely to beat Froch in a rematch, I think the first Groves fight took a bit out of him and Ward has already shown he has the beating of him, so I don't think that result is going to change much from the first fight.

Degale vs Dirrell is a really close fight, I think, and while I do believe Degale might be the better/ in form guy right now, its such a tight affair that you have to fancy the home fighter to get the decision if it does go close.

Groves vs Dirrell is a tough one to call too and while I don't really rate Anthony all that high I feel like Groves has looked really ordinary in his last couple and is likely to have his stamina tested again against Dirrell. Again, home advantage is likely to be with Dirrell and this could well be enough for him to grind out the win.

I think the Degale and Groves fights are both close to 50/50 match ups so I'm hoping we can pull out a win in one of those, but I feel like the Dirrell's are holding a marginal advantage..... For what its worth I actually think or guys match up better if Degale was fighting Anthony and Groves Andre. I think Degale would beat Anthony fairly easily.

I've picked Ward,Degale and Anthony Dirrell, i can't see Froch doing anything different with Ward if they met again despite Wards lack of activity,DeGale for me has improved greatly and Groves has gone backwards since the first Froch fight

I'd favor the three Americans but I think Degale and Groves have solid chances of winning. Ward is the only big favorite for me.

Agree with Check.

Dre D's just a little bit too slick for DeGale, I fancy. DeGale muscles through to a win if Andre's not in top form, though. If Ward's firing on all cylinders, he'll show that Froch has been fading for a while (as Groves would've done, had he a granite chin to match).

I'd pick Groves to win his fight until he starts tiring. I'm not a nationalist, so may the best men win. Three good fights.

How big a part do we think Home advantage would play in any of the 3 fights?

For me the Ward vs Froch fight is a Ward win either side of the water. But home crowd might increase Froch's chances slightly

I expect Groves to have to travel and Degale we know is going over to America. In the UK, I'd be backing both British lads to win, but it's a big ask without the home backing and the UK judges. (US judges appear to have give us a fair shake of the stick of late.)
I think Degale mentally will handle travelling (and doesn't exactly have a massive following over here anyway, so it wont be that great a loss to him)
As for Groves, he's been the "bad guy" over here before and handled it, but there's just a niggling doubt that he may be a little fragile after the Froch fights
