Are BN not printing some Letters Critical of Sports Network?

I sent a letter in two weeks ago.

I've never not had a letter printed until now.

It was an objective letter comparing the Fight Academy show in Reading to the Sports Network show at Bethnal Green, the following night.

There was nothing remotely libelous.

I would be very dissapointed if BN checked with SN before making the decision not to print. So much so, that I would probably stop buying BN, after over 20 years of buying it every week.

Can someone shed any light on this?

I think BN have to play politics here.

There are that many people pissed off with Sports Network, I am sure that if BN printed them all it would just look completley biased. (my opinion of course)

BN receives countless letters every week and to have had every one of your previous letters published is a minor miracle (and a tribute to the content). But, regrettably, there's never any guarantees and Claude Abrams has the final say.

I think they are being really careful right now. Remember the war of words between BN and Sports Network at the start of the year? I think because of that they are treading carefully.

If they were to print all the letters they received complaining about SN they would have to at least print another 20 pages.
