The same purpose that the WBA "interim" world championship fills. Enriching the WBA.

Making more $$$ in sanctioning fees by abc belt orgs. There are more belts than ever by the abc belt orgs. Not simply about the "super" belts. I've seen cats fighting for "interim" belts a week, a month before & after the so called legit belt was being fought for.

I wouldn't even bother trying to decipher the shenanigans at the alphabet organisations, as you'll probably end up needing psychiatric care.
As for what purpose their so-called 'super' belts fulfil; nothing, apart from the small matter of sanctioning fees for the WBA.

originally the "super" title was given to a Unified champion. the regular belt became a sort if "interim" belt
however after $$$ they decided to keep it and make another official "interim" title

What purpose? I guess so they can eventually water it down even more by adding a "super duper" Championship. Effing joke imo.

The WBA ordinary title, is just like any other legitimate world title
At current exchange rates the WBA super world title is worth 1.65 ordinary titles, really it's that good
you could trade it for an IBF world title and 0.65 of a WBC world title
or alternatively, if you wanted one from each governing body, you could swap it for a WBC youth silver belt, a WBO intercontinental and an IBF interim one and still have enough change left over for your bus fare home

I'd like to thank my team for making this all happen, my strength and conditioning coach. I gotta thank Al Haymon for making all this happen. I'd also like to thank jose sulaiman.
And god, I want to thank god, I'd never have won this award without God. Oh and a special mention to my sponsors for backing me all the way
