What a win for Berto a 6 round ko,I still think the ref should have let Josesito Lopez continue.

Yep Berto could be champion again, all he needs is better defense and movement,we all know he can bang it out with any fighter and he still has power in both hands.

This. I think Andre's has very likely seen his best days & his days never got that good lol.
I thought he lost every round last night. Once he dropped Josesito the second time I think he had it all locked up regardless of the bs stoppage (imho), but you can't be getting outboxed by Josesito & expect to have impact on the division.

This hurts to say, but unless berto does something drastic like maybe changing trainers he wont be much more than a gatekeeper pretty soon. Ive always liked berto and he has SOOOOOO much athletic ability, but for some reason it just seems like he cannot put it all together. Against lopez he had no head movement AT ALL, barely threw any combinations, came straight ahead with no attacking from angles, and took way to many shots from a guy who isn't really known to be a boxer in the first place (and contined to shake his head as though it didn't land)

. All I can hope is that maybe if he fights more often that he wont have as much ring rust and he may possibly come in sharper.
It just seems like the moment he gets put in with a tough opponent reality will come crashing down on him.

I like Andre Berto. But I think he's done.. Those beatings he took from Karass and Guerero a few years back wrecked him.. He might have a few more modest wins left in him, but his days of being on the world scene are basically over.. Holding the WBA title doesn't mean squat anymore, let alone the "interim" WBA title.
