Anybody know why Al Albert is at center ringside with pen and paper scoring the fights on Shobox last night?

Saw him again at ringside on the apron obviously scoring in the Cotto Canalo fight, does anybody know why he is there?

why does dan rafael score fights? wally matthews? al bernstein? max kellerman?
old media never really cared about boxing and assigned anyone willing to cover it,
without any real requirment that they ever boxed or particiapted in any other capacity
or had any experience in the sport at all before being assigned to cover boxing events.
these people are just media AP/UPI types picking up another check who wind up getting
stuck covering boxing and eventually believe their own bullshit
