For scottish member on here what path do we go down here, and how do you match him, really interesting and a very exciting style, I see so many fighters spoke about on here and think he flys under the radar like a lot of fighters in Scotland, be good to here other people's opinions:)

Welter mate, when you look at top 15 it's stacked, such a hard division, interested to see who do people see him in with, for me Id have him v denton vassell, would be unreal!!

Denton Vassell is easy to make. Denton just below British level the exact step up Mikey needs.. Come on Tommy make it happen next Dundee show?? Huge fight for the fans

Denton needs to retire, he's nowhere near the fighter he used to be. If he's at welter, realistically he's going to have to go on the road to get big fights, can't see many on that list travelling. Probably needs a few more fights before he's ready for eliminators/titles, just to get some rounds in. Is there much footage about of him? Struggling to find much apart from a short clip on youtube.

Denton is way to experienced for Mike at this stage, look what he done to kelly took his time and punished him

Mike towell isn't craig kelly though, how do you push him through? I just don't think his style you hold back, his fghts will go one way and he will just trade, while he's Young and fresh he's best to have his biggest fights. Once he's been on your gym you will also have a better opinion on it all!

Maybe your right Billy. I would say Denton would go into that fight as a favourite. If he can't beat someone below British level then really he would need a rethink of what route he should do as a boxer. I think Denton is probably going backwards in his career with Mike moving forward this would be a good yard stick for him see where he is at. A win then he has a few fights at that level then a crack at the British Title. A loss he rebuilds looks at a Scottish title a few Scottish lads at that weight. Most people expected Rhys Pagan to Stop Mike easily and Mike won at one stage Billy you were saying Rhys was destined to go all the way. I'm actually going to shock a lot of people here I think Mikes too heavy for his size. He should be a light welter that's where I think he would stand a chance at British level. Would give him a decent shout v Willie Limond

Davie with respect to mike, Willie Limmond would totally school the lad completely different level mate, I don't think Rhys has delivered the potential he had IMO

not ever boxer will trade with him Jamie he may struggle with a mover and to be fair he hasn't fought a name of any disciption yet so the question remains can he take it back, only time will tell

Willie is a very good technical boxer but struggles a bit under pressure. He can switch off in fights. Mike would be in his face the whole fight pressuring him I don't think Willie would have the power to trouble Mikey who seems to have a good chin. These levels you talk about are true to a extent but at the end of the day they are just 2 men at the end of the day. On any day one can be better than the other

I'd put him in over 8 with Ronnie Heffron at light middle. He looks stronger to me at the higher weight.

If he could possibly fight at light welter, and I don't think he could, Willie Limond would totally outclass him, and probably destroy his confidence for years to come.

It'll not happen but a fight with John Thain at this stage would be interesting.

Agree regarding willie Limond and I know mikey will have to solve a few problems when he can't just brawl with people and he began to use his jab on saturday and looked decent, then went for it ha,

Think vassell is a great fight to take, he's on the slip and from what I gather craig kelly was winning the rounds, vassal a slow starter and mikey could have him out there before he gets into it, for me I think mikey will get kelly next after matty wins next month, billy is spot on regarding mike opponents thoigh just have a feeling he can do well, look forward to your opinion after you see him sparring, were guarenteed the truth and excellent sparring for mike and Ritson ,

Towell has the style I like, throws lots of punches and cuts ring off well.. He does need certain things tweeked but he's doing well soo far.. as to who he could box next, there's no point rushing him.. give him learning fights as blasting these guys out isn't helping him too much.. I heard by a good few people that bills boy ritson is mustard. So good sparring there for both guys..
