Khomitsky fight too early for Etches?

Got a bad feeling that this fight is far too early for young Adam.
He's progressed fine since starting out and I see this jump up in class as high risk and pretty unnecessary given Etches age.
I am a fan of Etches and hope he pulls it off but I cannot see him troubling Khomitsky and going at him with a limitem defence trying to bomb him out could be a suicide mission.
I can only see a clear Khomitsky victory here and probably by mid round stoppage.
what's people's thoughts on this fight?

He's been a pro 4.5 years, he's got to step up at some point.

A loss isn't the end of the world, it's better than treading water for a couple more years.

he should have been in more competitive fights by now so this is an ideal test for him against an average European level fighter

Etches will win, he's a solid man for one so young and he doesb hit hard, he'll pace himself; he's got a sensible head on his shoulders.

Etches wins for me. Khomitsky is getting on a bit now & is pretty one paced.

This is far from a gimme for Etches....

He gave Stieglitz trouble before that bizzare ending.

This will be Etches toughest fight easy but I think he has a sturdiness about him that Buglioni lacks, although Frank is tough and can take a shot, his defence is so open that his opponents almost have an open goal

Etches looks solid so far but Khomitsky should take him the distance and give him problems but I think Adam wins

Oh right, Etches is the kid profiled in box monthly a few months back I think ? Came over very well, level headed, watched a few on you tube and he's obviously heavy handed. But those impressive wins over the 2 Brazilians I watched might have flattered him a bit, and Sergey is a very tough nut who'll find out any weakness in a young prospect.
Very interesting fight, Etches has to bank on a long fight you'd think, and not go looking for a big knock out too early.

To put the into perspective:

He is 24 years old, been a pro for 4 and a half years, and is 18-0

His opponent is 40 years old, lost 11 fights and only won 1 of his last 4 fights.

Not exactly a case of a naive young kid being thrown to the wolves.

He gave Stieglitz trouble before that bizzare ending.[/quote]

I expect a simlar bizzare ending here, Kohmitsky retires/unable to continue.

Nice payday for a guy whos comming towards the end of his career but still a name for a big ticket seller

True, but Khomitsky is still a big step up & is much better than his record suggests.

Frank Bugoloni has been mooted by some to be a world champion, so Khomitsky must be pure dynamite!

Good night sweetheart...poor Adam.
in all fairness Etches was not impressive at all - he's all squared up with zero head movement. He won't come back from this and move further he's British/boarderline euro level.
