Kell Brook vs Jo Jo Dan

Does Jo Jo have any actual prayer of winning a decision over there?
I think he'd need to win in the 9-3 or 10-2 range to actually win and dont think he's nearly good enough to beat Brook that clearly so I dont see how the hell he wins this fight. Thoughts? The -1500 odds are so wide they reflect that they dont think Dan can win there. If it's not in the UK it's probably more like -500 to -600.

There won't need to be a robbery here, Dan isn't good enough to win.

Dan can't punch and Brook does virtually everything better than him, so I struggle to see how Dan would win even with fair judging.

No real method in what Dan does,he just keeps ploughing forward, he'll be target practice for Brook

Brook does not need any help from any judges. Ionut could not beat Brook in any fashion.

Brook will be far too good for JJD, Dan ploughs forward Rocky style and will be boxed around.
This one doesn't make even half way imo

If Brook's injury hasn't affected him too much, he'll win comfortably. If it has, it could be closer but I'm just hoping there's no controversy. It seems to be a massive reason for boxers not to travel to the UK which is a shame because we get great numbers and produce fantastic atmospheres. I hope we can shake this reputation over the coming months/years. In fairness, the early stoppages seem to be more of a problem than the judging. In the Burns Beltran fight for example it was a yank who scored the fight for Ricky and the Froch Dirrell fight was all foreign judges.

The whole 'never get anything in Britain' narrative is utter bollocks frankly.

Yes, although the early stoppages narrative isn't.

No disputing that. Poor officiating rather than any hometown favouritism though.

Assuming Brook wins of course, he is apparently tired of chasing Khan so he said a fight with Khan is out for 2015. I doubt if he will get the May/Pac winner, but a match-up with Thurman or Maidana would be good too.

Not really, they always stop the visitor early and the home fighter is 'given every chance'.

I fully expected Kell to win, but I thought Jo Jo would make a better account of himself. Impressive W for Kell.

The Brian Rose stoppage springs to mind...
