We need more Women Boxers and more Women Boxing fights in NZ
I heard former IBF World Champ Daniella Smith recently retired and is training Amateur boxers now
so at the moment the only active boxer (as far as i am aware of) is Gentiane Lupi who is due a World Title shot from Shannon O'Connell
anyway yea i Think we need more women fights

That's your opinion, mine is one is one too many. I go and see most shows in Auckland and usually take the opportunity to get some fresh air if there's a ladies fight (corporate and pro) on. I think you'll find a coupe of ladies turned pro earlier this month anyway, I think it was either in Napier or Wellington.

The best female fight I've ever seen was Angie vs Nive on this show
http://boxrec.com/show_display.php?show_id=532774 So much so, promoter gave each $500 bonus. Angie is kicking legend John Wayne Parr's wife

Haven't seen any to have an opinion. I can only go by results, at the same time I'm not all that keen on female combats.

I think NZ woman could dominate women's boxing especially the heavier weights.

Working on a Womens World Title fight for Michelle Preston in Auckland (sorry tsmithy

)
Theres actually been some cracker woman's corporate bouts recently not so many pro fights as theres generally not the girls fighting pro here.
To be honest if you had a semi decent girl give her 3-5 corporate bouts and then turn her pro to have a crack will find they can get alot further ahead alot quicker than the blokes through simple fact there's alot less of them. Not out of the question she could land a significant title fight inside 5 bouts

Rebecca should not have won she did not land clean shots and was clearly more interested in rubbing her bits on her trainer as soon as the round stopped and lso at the end gestures that I feel not needed .
