This don't even make any sense to me. If GBP has promotional rights to Jhonny why is he fighting under the Haymon umbrella? And who the eff would have rather seen Jhonny vs Gary over Jhonny vs Jorge Arce with Gary coming off of a L to a guy with 2 fights & Jorge with better recent wins, although granted not by much, then Gary. Plus Jorge has a boxing legacy. Gary has largely been a 126lb Deontay Wilder as far as opponent selection goes. Jorge is clearly the better opponent for enhancing ones career resume. Seems like Oscar is getting desperate instead of sucking it up & rebuilding.
If GBP has a legit claim to promote Jhonny just make the lawsuit about that. Sh!t man promotional contracts are so damn tricky you can't blame guys for being all wishy washy & confused with them. And Oscar should know he signed Manny back in the day only to have Bob say nah uh brother he's with me.
