Kell Brook's Training

Something that I have picked up over a couple of the interviews I have watched this weekend, is people implying that Kell Brook isnt or wasnt the hardest worker.
Dom Ingle, said "the penny has finally dropped" with regards to Kell living the life, and Johnny Nelson saying "he isnt the easiest guy to train".
He always came across to me as the kind of boxer that lives the life in and out of the gym.

I thought he liked his drink and 'what not' in the past.
And obv bad company given he's been slashed/stabbed in two separate incidents.
Didn't he twat a doorman as well a few years back? Either way, glad he's seen the light.

Looking in great nick & being ready for the elite not always the same thing.
Seems like his mind & body in the right place now.

I knew of kell from back when james hare was active. He was always a very capable lad but i heard (i stress that it was hear say from one of warrens matchmakers) that he liked a night out on the town and was'nt the complete professional he needed to be. The Carson Jones fight woke him up and he started taking it seriously and now look at him. Dunno what happened on holiday as i lost contact with the gym a bit and it all seems hush hush but the odd whisper doesn't sound too clever from kells point of view. He needs to knuckle down now because he can unify the division over the next 4 or 5 years if he does.

There isn't a WW out there in as impressive shape as Kell. Looks a monster of a WW especially in the back and shoulders. However this has nothing to do with stamina. His stamina did look OK against Porter but will be interesting to see how he'd cope with a potential 12 rounds against Khan or Thurman where he'd have to up his work-rate.

I have heard he loved a bit of the 'what not' on a night out.
