Anyone know much about 80's Philly fighter Kevin Perry?

His career seemed to start well. He handed Mark Medal his first defeat (KO 1). After that defeat Medal then went 20-0 (18kos) and won the IBF super-welterweight title. Perry also handed Buster Drayton his first defeat (RSF 3). After those two wins Perry was 6-0 (5 ko's). He then lost a couple, one being a points defeat over 10 to Mike McCallum who was 14-0 at the time. After that his career didn't seem to go anywhere. Anyone know much about him ?

Kevin Perry was part of the "South Philly Clique" that trained at Nick Belfiore's Juniper Gym,along with Matt Franklin, Tyrone + Mike Everett, Jeff Chandler, Archie Andrews, Kevin Howard, Booby Evans, Jerry Graham etc. He looked like he was on his way after beating crosstown (West Philly) rival Tony Suero at Atlantic City but he started to seem disinterested, I'm not sure why, and lost a couple fights and faded from the scene.

Thank you my friend. On paper he seemed to have some ability, could he have gone places as a pro had he stuck to it properly?
