Now that Floyd is off the duck-list, who's #1 ducker now?

you decide. for me it is between adonis and khan. because adonis make me think of what has doing the last 5 years and that is not making great effort in boxing the obvious top boxer aside from himself. i mean, it doesnt get any clearer, that kovalev is by far the one opponent everybody wants to see him against.
than there is khan, who is delusional in his fantasy, that he is now an elite level world class boxer on the same level of floyd or manny, just because he beat the like of devon or collazo hahahahahaha......and an old grandpa barrera and surviving against maidana hahahahaha.......and now he truly believes that brook does not deserve anything, although whole britain boxing fans want to see this fight.
close call, but i have to go for adonis. boxing guys like suhkotsy or bika, when there is somebody like serguy around is just totaly nonsense, got 0 respect for that.

Chep, you need to be more generous. One option is not enough. Really hard to pick only one.

Adonis Stevenson obviously has to be mentioned for not yet (we all hope that he does) fighting Sergei Kovalev who we all know is THE MAN in the Light Heavyweight division for exposing Nathan Cleverly as a 'paper champ' and outsmarting the old Grand Master himself Bernard Hopkins. If he doesn't Kovalev then I agree with Jean Pascal's assessment of of Stevenson as Aduckis Chickenson.
I think Peter Quillin being on the list is a tad harsh as he has got to fight Andy Lee first to get back his old WBO Middleweight title and then has to (if he beats Lee) facing Billie Joe Saunders who is the WBO mandatory challenger having beaten Chris Eubank Jnr in the WBO final eliminator that was also a three belt British, Commonwealth and European title fight (you don't see many of those fights happen these days). Perhaps Danny Jacobs should be considered on the list for not yet stepping up to the Golovkin challenge.

yeah, but quillin is ranked higher than jacobs and he simply should have fought ggg time ago, when gg wanted him. i mean, there is no shame in losing to ggg. otherwise, who says that he would have surely lost. quillin is athletic and technicly well rounded, it wouldnt have been easy for ggg, and a win over ggg would have been a huge upset, quillin would be in a top 10 p4p and names from canelo, cotto and froch would have been potential opponents. but what did he do, duck.

Floyd should have never been on the duck list, Manny should have, he was the one who ducked. KhanDuck is the #1 ducker now along with everyone else who is in the MW division and is afraid to face GGG.

I notice Froch isnt on the list

.......I mean hes doing the same shit Cotto doing and before I get the Brits yelling hes earned it just remember Cotto has 10 times the resume and is a 4 division champ.
My vote goes to Khan artist hands down.

To me, there's not even a question. Adonis verbally agreed to fight the Krusher last year and then backed out to fight 2 joureymen (1 knocked him down). Khan, though I think Chep's delusional remark is perfect, never ducked out of a fight he agreed to. Quite the opposite, he only wants to fight the best, elite, top money guys. I'd rather a boxer hold out for a great fight than fight a bunch of unappealing ones (GGG).
Garcia was just one of Haymon's studs reigned back last year awaiting for PBC to presented. First fight of the year is against Lamont Peterson and that excludes him from the list for sure. That is going to be a classic fight and possibly FOY that no one is talking about right now.
Lastly, I know you couldn't list everyone but i'd really like to Andre Ward on this list. This guy is an absolute joke. The balls he's got commentating at boxing events during this ridiculous hiatus and now trying to dictate A sides of his fights. How the WBA hasn't stripped him of his title by now is ridiculous. Ward will avoid GGG and Kovalev, that's a guarantee. He wins one tournament filled with mediocre talent and ends up on P4P lists. He hasn't beaten any elite fighters in my opinion. Poser.

Talk is cheap! Sure Kahn has been calling May, Pac and Cotto. Yet he is still a duck

Jheeez
Firstly the word duck gets flung around way too much in boxing.
Khan is not a duck. He genuinely wants the best in the division. He's also fought MAB, Kotelnik, Paulie, Maidana, Judah, Peterson, Garcia, Collazo, Alexander. I'm not for a minute suggesting they are all world beaters or at their peaks but this is not the CV of a "ducker".
Quigg admittedly has a poor CV but genuinely wants the big fights. He went to Belfast off his own back to help make the Frampton fight happen. Again Quigg is not a duck.
I think you need to brush up on your boxing vocab. To be a so called duck, you need to have a history of taking actions/ making statements to avoid the best opposition e.g. it seems Stevenson has ducked Kovalev so far.

I would call out those 3 too. They are the biggest money fights.
Yet Kahn avoids any real challenge. Brooks,Thurman,or avenging his loses.
He is waiting for a big payday and nothing more.

No one who holds the heartfelt opinion that Floyd is ducker will ever take him off that list.
In this case, if he wins, it'll just be said that he ran out the clock until Pac had been KO'd before he agreed to fight him.
With boxing and boxing fans being so subjective by nature, it's as easy to predict as the sun rising.
Ahh thing thing of ours...

Genuinely believe this to be true and I do believe they will get it on before the end of 2016.

Under the conditions that the fight has to be held in England and that it's a 50/50 split. Quigg won't settle for anything less.
