Not in the U.S.

It would struggle to manage 250,000 buys.

I think you underestimate both the interest in Khan here and how much the "American across the pond" angle can work.

Hyped properly, I think it is good for at least as many US buys as Canelo/Angulo- maybe even more to about or near half a million buys.

But, undoubtedly the UK buys would play a huge part.

I was unaware that there was much interest in Khan here in the U.S.
Brook is a complete unknown in America. They could televise that fight on ESPN and it would garner the usual 0.2 rating.

If it ain't a Mexican star or Pacquiao/Mayweather, few buy PPVs in the U.S.

The time difference is weird. Either have to do it on "American" time or numbers would be low in the US. Kell did less than 200k viewers iirc on US TV with normal UK fight time. Gary vs Jhonny did almost 2.5x that number iirc. Although I don't think Kell did much better when they reshowed it in a better time period, although taped sporting events are as awkward to sell as day old donuts.

I definitely don't think it'd do 500k ppv buys in the US. Maybe 200k, 250k/max. I think the timezone issue would be poison to ppv buys. Having said that it'd surely kill in the UK. You guys in the UK might be the #2 most solid fan base outside of Mexico/Hispanics in the world. Definitely up there wherever you stand officially.
