Limond out of British title defence

Just read Willie Limond has been ruled out of his defence against Chris Jenkins. Jenkins will now fight Tyrone Nurse for the vacant title. Does anyone know if Limond vacated or was stripped? I read a while back they were in talks for a crack at Di Rocco for the European so I'm just wondering if he's had a better offer? The reason given was a shoulder injury.

Limond's been done over here, Jenkins should never have been mandatory in the first place, he has to pull out and now he loses the belt? Joke.
Di Rocco has a voluntary, then Daws is his mandatory, that fight fell through last year, apparently the Italians were hard work to negotiate with and the EBU weren't much help either.

Yeah a bit disappointed to be honest. I was looking forward to the fight. Hopefully something can get sorted for him at Euro level or a fight against the winner of Jenkins Nurse.

Surely some sort of agreement has been made so that Limond gets first crack at the winner
