There is talk in the general section of this fight getting made, would be a great thing for geale if this came off
Geale is now the frontrunner according to the article. Great opportunity if he lands it and the chance for a 3rd title win.DA GOOSE wrote:http://www.BS.com/miguel-cotto ... une--89264
C'mon matey you are having a laugh with that comment. No one on planet earth wants to see Geale fight Golovkin again especially the American TV networks after Geales performance in their fight.amwsnw wrote:Geale wins this if he keeps a distance and boxes smartly. Great opportunity for DG to get his rematch with ggg.

Both get ironed out against Golovkin ...... In Geales case again
Did you watch the last fight? Geale had every reason to ask for an immediate rematch after the time keeping fiasco. On top of that he is fighting a guy who has been touted as the next opponent for GGG (Cotto). A good win will put Geale straight back in line.Francis75 wrote:C'mon matey you are having a laugh with that comment. Geale is a cherry pick for Cotto, there are plenty of elite guys willing to fight Cotto like Golovkin & Canelo.Pureist wrote:Geale is willing to get in the ring against superstars, you have no chance if your not willing to get in the ring or cherry pick opponents
Geale won 2 world titles prior to that and if he manages to beat Cotto that will make 3MidniteProwler wrote:What has Geale done to deserve a shot at Cotto? Quit against Golovkin? Beat his sparring partner Fletcher![]()
If this fight does indeed happen it is a disgrace and an easy KO win for Cotto IMO.
Geale hasn't won a meaningful fight since 2012.Like a Boss wrote:Geale won 2 world titles prior to that and if he manages to beat Cotto that will make 3MidniteProwler wrote:What has Geale done to deserve a shot at Cotto? Quit against Golovkin? Beat his sparring partner Fletcher![]()

Geale schooled Mundine in 2013 and made a packet of folding stuff in the process. Most would rate that as meaningful.MidniteProwler wrote:Geale hasn't won a meaningful fight since 2012.Like a Boss wrote:Geale won 2 world titles prior to that and if he manages to beat Cotto that will make 3MidniteProwler wrote:What has Geale done to deserve a shot at Cotto? You got to be kidding mate, why should the long round have only been considered a disadvantage for Geale and not Golovkin?amwsnw wrote:Did you watch the last fight?
