Would he travel here To fight Kell? When would the fight be and the venue etc....... I always wanted watch him fight see. I imagine it be a lively build-up

I don't think Rios would have any problem coming over here for a world title shot. He looked good last time out but Alvarado didn't turn up. He wouldn't show Brook much respect in the build up or the fight itself but I'd fancy a Brook stoppage mid to late rounds. Rios is there to be hit and Kell is very accurate. Rios has taken a lot of punishment over the years even though he's relatively young.

It would be an interesting fight. I would strongly fancy Kell but he did get roughed up by Carson Jones applying pressure in their first fight.

Rios is made for Brook and as tough as he is,I'd be disappointed if Kell didn't stop him

Brandon is almost shot to pieces IMO and Alvarado is shot to pieces. I'd like to see them both call time as they're not doing themselves any real good continuing.

This would be a perfect next fight for brook would win handily and get recognission and publicity stateside in doing so!

Brook is too big, quick, awkward and powerful for Rios. Really he's no better at welter than Algieri imo.

Carson is a big lad himself, I don't believe Rios has the physical size to bully Brook, and he certainly doesn't have anything else to bother him IMO. Rios would get utterly clubbed by brook.

Pac hits far harder than Kell, far more often and from far more angles. He's consistently backed up, dropped and hurt far bigger men than him. The only thing Kell has over Manny in terms of KO chances is his timing and counter punching.

Rios isn't getting put away by any fighter between 140-147 with the exception of maybe Matthyse, Maidana or Provodnikov and i dont believe they are that likely to.

^ Good points mate, especially RE: the relative hitting power of Manny & Kell but FWIW I always thought--with the way Rios blindly launches himself at people--that JMM would eventually chin Rios, 9/10.

I first mentioned this when Rios was getting wobbled by Acosta & I haven't changed my opinion since. Not so much based on the sheer force of the shots but based on angles & the way Rios squares up face-first.

Angles & speed are basically why I'd rate Pac a better hitter than Brook, FWIW as well; the proper knockdown of Algieri (you know the one I mean, the one where Algieri went down like he'd been shot just after his trainer was going to "Let him out the cage", was it in the ninth?) was a Pac-fvcked-up-trigonometry classic: that straight left comes out of nowhere, he takes that little shuffle-step to his right, gets his feet on the "wrong" side of an orthodox fighter & he lands the left cross on the left side of the jaw, i.e. on the opposite side of where it "should" land. He did it to JMM (a few times), to Hatton & to Cotto & decked all of them like it, no-one ever sees it coming.

Ironically, of course, the orthodox inversion of that very move is what JMM did to him to put the lights out (& also in the fifth, when it looked like Marquez was on his way out, the big counter that wobbled Pac & stopped him dead in his tracks after Manny had floored JMM).

Without trying to make Pacquiao sound like a powderpuff puncher,there's no way he carries the same power up at WW as he did in the lower weights plus after such a long, hard career hes lost that explosiveness and ferocity that overwhelmed many opponents, don't get me wrong the boxing skills he's been showing lately are equally impressive but although Rios is tough and might not even touch down,the timing,accuracy and power of Brook would be so on point that something would have to give and Brandon would end up needing to be saved from himself a bit like Margarito was when he fought Manny

I'm not going to play tennis with you here but Pac has hurt nearly every top level fighter he has come across, at any weight class and yet you think Brook hits harder.

PAc doesn't carry the power he did in the lower weight classes, but he stopped Margarito in his tracks, Dropped Mosely, Dropped Cotto, Killed Hatton, played ping pong with Algieri's head and the canvas, and yet he seemingly doesn't hit as hard as Kell... not buying it

Kell is not a big puncher, he's accurate and solid at best. he will not stop Rios unless the mouthy little shitbag is totally shot (personally i hope so) . I also don't believe Kell would stop Algieri, nor do i think Khan will. Kell will outclass and counter Rios until the cows come home, and win a wide, wide decision but my guess is he won't come close to putting him on his arse.

Any chance to see Rios getting a pasting is good by me, though i'd prefer to see Kell in other fights, Guerrero, Alexander or even Berto would be better fights against better fighters (@147 disclaimer) before taking on either Khan or Bradley in his next one.

i'd love to see rios fight brook and i think he beats him. rios is a tough, street kid and he's been right at the top level against pacman. brook would be a big step down for him. i worried about rios being punchy before but i think a lot of it is his texan drawl. he was spot on against alvarado last time, even if alvarado didnt offer much in return (not brandon's fault)

Alvarado is not top level and Rios went to hell and back with him for 2 fights. The likelihood is Alvarado was shot in fight 3.

Brook is far better than mike.
