Ok. I am underway with uploading fights onto youtube my channel is linked here

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzEg2H ... LFM3sj2TCw

I have uploaded the first of many fights so I suggest you keep an eye on this thread in this section for updates of fights I will upload onto youtube.

As there is a possibility of copyright infringements I suggest you check them out as quick as possible and maybe download them yourself using a youtube movie downloader. I hope none are taken down. I have 2500 fights to get through so this is an ongoing project. I work full time and have other commitments so please do not expect hundreds of fights each week.

Please comment on the fights and if there are any fights from the mid 80's to mid to late 90's that you are desperate to see let me know and I will see if I have them in my collection.

My first upload is Chris Pyatt v/s Eddie Hall

When I get a little more experienced with movie editing they may get better in quality however I have no control over youtube and their compacting of movies uploaded.

Have fun watching them and keep an eye out for more uploads which will be on this post.

I am currently uploading Sugar Ray Leonard v/s Donny Lalonde to youtube.

The issue im having is time along with the file size. Once i get copying the vhs takes 4 hours, then ripping it to my pc, then cutting the file. Once I have done this the file for the above fight is 1.5 gig that takes 90 minutes to upload onto youtube.

This project is going to take a long time.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to get the files down in size, maybe convert the DVD to another format that will shrink the file size would be a great help to me.

Currently in the VHS player is

Gary Mason v James Tillis
Duke McKenzie v Antonio Ruiz
Julio Miranda v Barry McGuigan
Tunday Foster v Darren McGrew
James Mcgirt v Meldrich Taylor
Felix Santiago v Roddy Blake
Jeff Fenech v Tyrone downes
George Navarro v Jeff Fenech
Valario Nati v Daniel Zaragoza
Kevin Taylor v Paul Hodkinson
Tyrone Moore v Chris Pyatt
Andy Holligan v Sugar Gilibiru

Why spend all that time uploading something that is already there? Seems utterly pointless to me.

Rather than bitch and whine listen. This is a whole new thing to me, im in the walking before running stage. I am trying my best to upload some fights for anyone to watch. I'm trying my best to get this project up and running. As no one is saying 'Hey Mimmy can you upload this, this or this' I am trying to get to the running stage by myself.

If you have read the above post you will see I have listed whats in my VHS recoprder presently. Now, 1, I am doing this to get all my fights onto DVD. 2, if anyone says Mimmy can you upload that fight on that tape I will do that first. If no one is responding to action, and im sure they will once I am up to speed with the whole thing. Then I will upload what I want. I cannot upload over 2500 fights. I agree with you in terms of the same fight on youtube, however I am at the start of a project.

If that offends you im sorry but thats the way I'm working until those who want something spacific to watch I will do my own thing.

Im not charging anything, its free!

Give yourself a pat on the back.

You're whining on an open forum about how long something is taking you to do, and you don't even need to do it.

How long does it take to Google the fight you're currently converting on youtube? 20 seconds?

If you've got them...anything featuring any of the following is always welcome.

Kaylor
Schwer
Pat Barrett but only if it's better quality than what's already up there
Any Champs Camp fighters especially Maurice Core and Ensley

I am desperate to see Sean Murphy vs Gary De Roux; it was a classic, and fits your profile.

Also, anything with Prince Rodney would be interesting for me.

Ok ive changed the way im uploading to youtube. Im finding it impossible due to time restraints to cut what I think are the best fights. Im only 3 tapes in of 250 and its hard going. So basically, im just uploading a full tape of fights. I have currently done one and it should be live in 30 minutes, so im going to see what the quality is like and if its ok to watch this is how im going to do it.

Im going to call them Tape 1 to 250 but I will write here whats on each tape and if you are interested in that tape just fast forward it to the fights you want to see.

OK.

Tape 1.

Barry McGuigan v Ricky Perez
Nigel Benn v Umaru Sanda
Nigel Benn v Tim Williams
Thomas Hearns v Iran Barkley
Barry McGuigan v Thomas De Cruz
Mike Tyson v Michael Spinks
Lloyd honeyghan v Yung Kil Chung
Marlon Starling v Tomas Molinares
Robert Dickie v Kamel Bou Ali
Duke McKenzie v Rolando Bohol
Denis Andries v Bobby Czyz

Very early tapes quality not going to be as good as the later tapes obviously 30 years old VHS

The Murphy v De Roux bout was a brilliant bout, neither was the same again.

Tape 4 should be up later this evening (tape 2 is still in DVD recorder)

George Collins v Chris Blake
Freddy Pendleton v Aluja Bramble
Kevin Kelley v Joe King
Tyrone Jackson v Restarvo Motez
Pastmasters, Former British Heavyweights
Ronaldo Snipes v Lional Washington
Gary Mason v Trevor Currie
Paul Hodkinson v Johnny Carter
Maurizo Stecca v Pedro Norlsco
Khaosai Galaxy v Tie il Chang
Khaorkor Galaxy v Chang Hwan Duk
Marlon Starling v Lloyd Honeyghan
Seung Su Lee v Mark Breland
Nigel Benn v Mike Chilamba
Billy Hardy v Ronnie Carroll

My pick of this tape is the Lloyd Honeyghan fight. He was way out of his league, and it showed.

Incidentially on some tapes I put a few documentries on Thus on here, 'Pastmasters' which should be interesting.
