Anybody watching this right now? I'm technically streaming, but it isn't on PPV in Canada (on Fight Network I believe).
Robert Garcia is one of the commentators which is really funny.
Did anyone actually buy this PPV in the US?

Layla McCarter has been a good friend of mine since she started boxing, and I've know Curtis Stevens for years from the amateurs. I bought it to support my 2 friends.
After getting this one, I can tell you I wouldn't buy another unless I had a friend competing on it and supporting them

What a crappy clinching/pushing/wrestling contest that was.

Like I said, the only way I'd ever watch something like this is if they took the "let's not have it in a ring" to its logical conclusion:

LOL although I'd probably tune in not gonna lie.
I'm for all forms of fighting. I think humans are a fighting/physically competitive species like many other species. I'm a fan of all forms of fighting from the more chess-like Sumo wrestling to the more graphic forms like boxing & MMA. I don't have any moral issues with more severe forms of fighting between willing participants that would be considered more primitive by most here like bareknuckle or unsanctioned bouts or things like BKB which plays with the rules of boxing.
I'm actually a huge fan of flipping the rules. Why these types of gloves? Why not MMA gloves? Why gloves at all (I personally believe no gloves would be safer to fighters brains then gloves fwiw, although hands would be f#cked) ? Why 3 min rounds? Why not 10 min rounds or no rounds or no rounds & give guys time outs or something lol? I think its fine to flip things around a lil & I hope to see more of it in the future by entrepreneurs & innovators in the sport of boxing.
I won't be shocked at all if there are fights to the death at some point in the future being televised. Hell they are probably already death fights happening for some Kim Jong Un type dicator somewhere.

It was a decent night of fighting action... IMO they kind of nailed the type of fighter that will provide enough excitment for the casual fan to get interested. These guys on the undercard don't cost too much i'm sure either but give a good show (karass, estrada...). And for brawlers like Rosado, it's a chance of making a good payday and letting your hands go without being preoccupied about adding a L on his pro boxing record.
The ring needs work, because too often the action is halted by the fighter falling on the black part. Also they should've just fought an extra round to determine a winner on the main event.
Hls of the card here:

ENJOY! !

Haha, and once again, Stevens couldn't do s***. He didn't against GGG, he didn't against N'dam, and he didn't against Rosado. He is slow as a turtle, and his power is greatly overrated. Hopefully he beats Rosado in the rematch. Give me one year, and i'll be the BKB champion, and the first to send him to sleep on the canvas.
But that isn't going to happen. N'dam would beat him 10 out of 10 times, and Rosado will beat him clearly unless he's getting catched by a few hooks. I've got alot of respect for Rosado, always fighting, no matter who. Karass, Golovkin, Love, Quillin, Charlo, Lemieux, Stevens, BUT how many did he won? Can't believe he's is the BKB champion. Put Golovkin in BKB & let Stevens fight Lemieux in a traditonal ring. I can tell you which two are getting beaten up.
