Any one see the fight last night. What exactly happened? I know the result but was it a straight kayo, cut, three knockdowns or what.

Anyone know anything about his opponent.

His opponent was awkward and was landing on him a lot before he landed a bomb and put Dickinson down.

Dickinson got up but his legs were buggered and the ref had to save him from falling down again (if I remember correctly).

travis looked like a novice fighter yesterday. he walked in trying to force the pressure and even after a couple of close calls with the right hand he walked on to a peach and got ko'd!! maybe he should stop the partying and knuckle down because over the last couple of years he really hasnt improved but probably went backwards.

He left himself open a few times to a few overhand rights and looked to become frustrated with it being a home crowd. so instead of working to get inside, he thought it would be a good idea to leave his chin up and exposed when he moved in, where it rightly got hit and then again on the way down. . TD didn't know where he was

Probably dead as a competition I suspect. What's more, when a guy gets what rounded like that, it can easily make them decide to pack it in.

He did, I couldn't trust my eyes, I thought he'd been brought over to lose and he boxed so loose it seemed he had no fundamentals but he drew the jab and countered expertly. Travis looked shell shocked, the punches weren't massive but were about flush on the chin. He must feel devastated, losing like that in front of his fans. His big brother must have balls of steel, boxing again after the Ovill blowout.

Matty stepped in for the final, they'd already put it back too many times to put it off again. Glad Travis got flattened after the abuse they gave Ajisafe when it was Travis that pulled out.

Just watched it, he got well and truly flattened. Nice to see when someone cocky gets a wake up call like that. The other guy was definitely toying with him and just walked him onto the right about 3 times before he got him with a flush one, totally didn't know his place was to come over and lose, love it when that happens.

I think Burton walks through Dickinson and would be a tougher fight for Ajisafe

Travis got knocked out plain and simple. His opponent landed good shots, it happens.

All this rubbish about being cocky and not working hard is a load of tosh.

Travis has had bad injuries last 2 years and has worked his nuts off to get fit.

He lost. End of story. He will be back.

Must admit I wouldn't have bothered sticking with the Sky coverage to watch this one if someone hadn't posted a spoiler on the RBR thread, I was fully expecting a 1st round ko for Dickinson, not against him. He just looked far too eager to impress his home crowd, we've all seen boxers try to force their work to please their fans, but unfortunately he left himself wide open in the process & paid the price. Certainly not going to write him off, but he obviously needs to be more careful in future.

He's becoming one of the must see fighters in the country, his fight with Clarkson was one of the best

I agree , the maxi-nutrition fight was the best fight I have seen for a very,very long time and he is a do or die type fighter , very entertaining .

Iv'e also never seen a bloke box in tracky bottoms like his opponant did on saturday , didn't think it was that cold oop north lol

When I've watched Travis I've always thought that he had potential. He's always struck me as the sort've kid who could definitely go on and win British Titles & European Titles (with the right Managing - not stagnating nor being rushed).

I didn't see his last fight, but I hope that he doesn't become a 1 step forward, 2 steps back sort've fighter career wise.
