After watching last nights Boxing on the BBC I just want to take time out to say say a heart felt thank you to Mr Steve Bunce for educating the BBC viewers and Boxing fans (including myself and my fellow Forum users) about Boxing and the sweet science in general.

You clear, calm, accurate, incisive and unbiased views have been so invaluable over the past few years, either through your TV appearences or via the press and BBC Web-site.

Like you said so rightly on the BBC last night you are here to educate us and I am sure that all my fellow posters and Boxing fans in general would like to joint me in saying a big THANK YOU because without your educational input our collective knowledge and love of the Noble Art would be far less.

Once again Mr Bunce thanks for the knowledge, but most of all thanks for sharing it with us, and thanks for just being you.

Did anybody tape the fight? We could all play a drinking game and whenever Steve Bunce claimed that Harrison could easily beat Skelton you take a shot.

So far I have only seen the stoppage, will view the fight in full later on. But I really couldn't believe what I was hearing. 11 unanswered shots? I saw a nice body shot from Bonin come in before Harrison landed 3 (maybe 4) when Bonin moved to the ropes.

Bonin turned his back away? If that is turning his back then I'm afraid the likes of Witter, Hamed and especially Eubank should have a lot more stoppage defeats on the record.

I'm not going to diss the Harrison performance (because I haven't seen it) but the stoppage was ludicrous. Well done to Arbams and the guy from the News of the World for actually speaking like your not on Harrison's pay roll.

He did turn his back, though he had done this earlier in the fight and come back ok.
I think without taking too much away from him, he was quite unrefined, to use a better word. He was game and willing, and when he was stopped he looked at the ref as if wondering what he was doing.
One or two thought the stoppage was correct, others thought differently, watch the fight and see what you think
