Who will want to fight Lemieux for $51,000 ?

I'm shocked. I thought Lemieux had some promotional clout behind him.

I hope he wins. I'm a fan of his. For some bizarre reason he reminds me of Nigel Benn.

Lemieux just quit GYM and sign with GBP, but he is getting sued by Gym. So maybe Golden bou did not want to put money on a fight they could lost control on.

I remember when Kendall Holt making 10g to fight Peterson for the title.

Lemeiux has 2 losses to Rubio who has been destoyed at least 3 times.....and Alcine whos been smoked numerous times. His biggest win is against a guy who just gad a draw with Curtis Stevens. Both getting shit pay tho.

This. There is more to this story. Who David should be with is a big fat question mark still. Wonder if this purse bid by GBP shows a lack of confidence in it being GBP.

Just because they won the bid for 100k doesn't mean they can't pay the fighters more. However if N'Dam doesn't fight, I'm sure Soliman would take that 50k anyday to fight for the title.

Anyone boxing Lemieux deserves a good payday, he's not the most skilled but hits very hard. I feel for N'Dam, it must be difficulty to keep motivated.

Yea this fight isn't even gonna happen imo. After looking into this more it sounds like N'Dam's promoter was trying to get the fight going for 6x the purse bid & N'Dam wasn't down for it at that amount. Him & his promoter got beef it sounds like. He surely won't be down for it at this purse.

Fight isn't happening. Although I suppose thats kinda obvious to most.

Maybe IBF just needs to offer GGG to fight N'Dam for their title. That will bring more money. If N'Dam refuses, then Lemieux, Saunders, Soliman, Mora, Johnson, Heiland, whoever of them agrees.

I don't think its a GYM issue. I think its a N'Dam's promoter & N'Dam issue. Michael King offered N'Dam $300k for the fight. N'Dam said nah. If anyone thinks he's taking $51k for this fight you're crazy. Hell I can't imagine David is all that happy with $51k.

GB doesn't have to pay $51K. They can pay whatever reasonable amount N'Dam wants.

But they don't got to. How much is this fight worth? Is GBP willing to pay it? Idk, but the facts that are out don't seem hopeful that this fight will happen.
