Apparently no one wants to fight Tim Bradley

One of the abc belt groups is trying to setup Tim in a title eliminator without any luck so far.

Tim vs Amir Khan, lotsa confusion on who denied it, but it got denied therefore Amir vs Chris

Tim vs Frankie Gavin, time ran out, looking like Gavin is rightfully going straight to a title shot, Frankie vs Kell

Tim vs Shawn Porter, to be determined, but I'm guessing we will have some TR vs PBC issues

And looking at the rankings it looks like Diego Chaves & Tim might be rematching if Shawn doesn't take the fight.
First the IBF offered Amir Khan an eliminator bout with Tim Bradley for the right face Kell Brook for his world title. Khan's team turned down the offer (despite Khan himself saying he never heard a word of it) and so the IBF then provided the offer to Frankie Gavin. They gave Gavin a number of days to accept the offer, but after hearing no word from promoter Eddie Hearn or Gavin, they are now saying that opportunity has expired. Now the IBF is relaying the offer to a third fighter in Shawn Porter.

I think Algieri vs Bradley would be a fun fight and one that can be fairly easy to negotiate. I dont think they have some true animosity towards each other but they both did take some light jabs at each other leading up to Pacquiao-Algieiri. It started when Algieri said he is faster than Bradley.

I don't necessarily agree or disagree all that much with the comment this was directed towards, but I really wish Boxrec had upvoting or "karma" votes or something like that cuz I'd positive vote the sh!t outta this gif. :TU: Well done sir.

WHy do you think Gavin deserves a title shot? Guy isn't close to Brook/Bradley's level.

I think you are misconstruing my remarks. I don't really care one way or another if Gavin deserves it or not. I got no horse in this race outside of the horse in that 5 star awesome gif you posted which is what all my remarks were directed at.

I do know Gavin is ranked highly by the abc belt group thus he is deserving technically for that reason alone. And if he's ranked & Kell comes calling it seems like fair play to me by the abc belt groups rules.

It was supposed to be Gavin - Van Heerden, prior to Hearn pulling Gavin out of that fight to make an all in-house title fight between Brook and Gavin. I would have much preferred a Brook - Bradley fight for the title and a Gavin - Van Heerden fight for an international belt and possibly a title eliminator if even that. The winner of Bradley - Brook would move pretty deep into the p4p top 10, possibly into the top 5, but unlikely.

Of course, Bradley could also fight Bundrage, Rios, or Chaves II next.
